How can you find a camper sitting on a claymore/equipment with ninja or a teammate telling you?

If the game mode is headquarters/demolition/ctf then you are obliged to come into a the lair of the camper if you want to win.

In mw2 you had sitrep which is more useful in this sense than hacker & fmj as a non perk upgrade.

It doesn't come down to being a better player, there are far too many factors than to simplify it to that. Connection, gun, silencer, individual's hearing & audio setup, whether one is the host, etc.

A good camper can get as good a score as a good rusher. Plus more often than not they've tailored their game to specific conditions, eg indoors, good vantage point or a choke point where the odds are in their favour. Also they're often more disciplined makes them all the more annoying than the player who gets bored sitting in a corner.

that's actually what I was on about when I said they've stopped people being about to sound whore. Ie - I can be 12 feet behind some ghost/ninja camper.....my footsteops will make noise for the 1st six steps then nothing for the last six.

ergo - no sound whoring. People are too dependant on their headsets. Well done to treyarch is what I say.

ION - just played 5 games of tdm there.

the other three games ended up 4v6/3v5/3v1

I'm convinced it's either people sitting in corners with ghost or second chance that's just making lads rage quit.

That's absolute bollox plain and simple. It took skill to get up there - forget about cheating, now Treyarch have basically said "Yeah, sorry to you guys, you can't do it anymore but the guys before you who've used it to get to high levels, yeah, well their ok and their record will remain untouched". Bullsh!t.

Not only that, but it was great craic jumping around all over the rooftops. You could even get to the top of the rocket. I played it again there last night and Acension just didn't "feel" the same - it felt...normal. It was brilliant craic, they should have left it be...it's not fun anymore.

Played MW2 last night for a while. I did start to get into it a bit more as it went on, maybe my hate for it a few weeks ago was a bit harsh. It is a fun game, but man does it need a Flak Jacket perk.

One thing I did note was that there was lots of people using CBP. I was using the Barrett with thermal scope so it was plain as day how many had it. At least 3/4+ out of a Ground War team.

In saying that, I didnt notice them sitting in corners that much. There was campers around all right, but nothing drastic. Then again, I don't think it's that big an issue in Blops either.

Dont see how anyone thinks camping is less of a problem in MW2 compared to black ops... Yeah they might not be using cold blooded, instead they'll be sitting in a building with 2 x claymore and looking out a window at a choke point with OMA noobtubes. Just because you're making noise does not make you any less of a camper. Not only is it 10x more frustrating it also allows them to rack up huge number of kills and killstreaks. Almost every OMA noobtuber in MW2 is a camper... and theres a fvck load of them.

Camping isnt even nearly as bad as it is in MW2... its just they make less noise

totally, I know I say I prefer MW2 to Blops (which i do) but I'm not some fanboy who thinks MW2 is perfect, far from it, its horribly broken in places with no defence again stuff like danger close and commando, if IW fixed these for MW3 it could be the perfect cod game

Dont know if was lag or just pure shyte but put game on tonight for an hr. After my last ten games had great k/d's of 2 or more i played a few Games and i struggled to kill anyone. Tonight was a joke for one on ones. Prob my most frustating few games in a long time.

shame it's not really IW and the game will be 90% different in map design and things like that probably.

I was the same actually. I've been playing quite well the last few weeks, getting some great scores in. About 80% of games were good (in the sense that my bullets hurt people instead of bouncing off)
Last night I was struggling so much I just turned it off. Every game seemed to have lag even though I had 3 bars and speedtest and pingtest were reporting everything was okay on my side. I'd swear in some games people were using lag switches too..... There seemed to be a lot of coincidental lagging.

When will Ireland have decent internet infrastructure?

I'm working with a fairly decent speed (nothing compared to international standards) but it seems like one bullet is killing me. I know I ain't that bad - sometimes it's fine and I can contribute a good performance for the team, but other times the melee just doesn't work in time.

Crappy Irish internet.

Ireland will never have proper broadband and its because of those ***** in Government at the time selling Eircom and then giving the license to 3 to create the national broadband scheme which is the biggest pile of ****e iv ever seen. 3's broadband isnt proper broadband its a useless

UPC from what I hear is the best but anything outside major towns we're ****ed

Weren't 3 contracted to install midband? Which was obsolete before it even came out.

I am hating pub games. The COD community is full of right cnuts, not playing objectives in objective games! :mad: Camping for kills in Dom because they know Dom games have more kills than TDM up for grabs. The worst part about it, is that these people didn't actually have good k/d ratio's for the most part. I checked like 15 people from 10 different games who I saw camping and only one of them was above 1.5, most were below .75 and about 3 barely pushing 1.0. Yet, everyone's a sniper :rolleyes:

its not all about the bandwith , your ping is more important.

Tell me about it!!!!! Best thing to do when playing with random people is use the Sam turret as one of your killstreaks. If they don't take it out quickly it can be very handy and it gets you a nice bit of xb Everytime it shoots something down.

One thing tho why does that guy have to announce to the opposition that a Sam turret(or sentry gun) is inbound???? Pretty much telling them to take it out asap!!!!

low, its how long it takes for info to get from your console to the host and back, its why the host always has an advantage in p2p games instead of dedicated servers.

You would be surprised how poor the game in on the pc, still lags and stuttering

Now its way better than the consoles but they have dedicated servers and it would want to be better tbh. Also they patching process for the pc is a disgrace. We are so far behind the consoles its not even funny
