Don't have kids but keep the house if you can.
I have friends doing the same as you & I have other friends putting the money into bank accounts for when the kids are older.

To buy more children from poorer countries (not many of those left now) so I can get even more childrens allowance. Its my fool proof get rich quick childcare pyramid scheme.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,516 ✭✭✭BrokenArrows

I assume most people who have kids just roll the money into their other money and take care of the kids as any responsible parent would.

I doubt anyone goes "ok i got xxxx amount of child allowance and im going to the shop now and only buy stuff for the kids"

Might have to have 2-3 more kids to pay the incoming water charges....:D

I might contact the galway sperm donor who insists on impregnating "the natural way" as he finds artificial insemination "too weird". hopefully we might have triplets.

I bankroll the kids with their own child allowance. They triple the money hustling other kids out of their lunch money at blackjack in the school yard

I call the youngest one Rain Man! ;)

When my son is born (6 months to go) I'll be spending mine on wooden spoons.
Mother****er is gonna know his place. If he cries, then he's gonna get the wooden spoon.
Babies cry a lot, so I'll be going through a lot of wooden spoons.
The rest will go on beer from Newry and smokes from Talbot St.

    Hey, at least I'm honest.

    Someone will believe this crap

The child allowance should be means tested. I can't understand how the likes of Doctors and other professionals are entitled to this money when they don't need it....Holiday money is all it is.
