    Cannot recommend these enough.

Small, compact, light and long battery - 4 to 7 hours depending on use

Perfect for trains/buses/long journeys, perfect to keep in the bed for streaming/watching a film/surfing before you sleep

Handy to grab while watching TV to check something

You won't be gaming on them but they run windows fine and will play standard movies and flash

200 quid delivered is pretty good

A very solid, reliable netbook and with the very slow advances in netbook spec (dual cores only making appearances now), still quite able for most users.

Excellent rice IF its the 6cell battery included.

Older spec machine with the n270 atom
but some people will prefer xp home to win 7 starter

Win 7 Starter is bit of a joke anyways..

.. silly limitations like the inability to change your desktop wallpaper (without a third-party app).

Really tempted to get this but not really sure why....anybody able to push me over the edge?:o

I know, and limit to number of application you can run at once

it seems to be the only choice with most newer netbooks though

Really? I thought they removed that limitation.

If Jonny7's post doesnt do it....

Because what he writes is exactly why i like mine as much as i do.
Was also very much in doubt and was only considering buying one to bring on the plane and on holidays. Was thinking of it as a portable dvd player with extra's.
Havent done that yet but i use the netbook really on a daily basis.

My laptop's kaput so I've just ordered one of these.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,495 ✭✭✭Abelloid

That is a good deal, I'd buy if I didn't have an NC-10 already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,153 ✭✭✭ronano

    god damn i'm so tempted

I have an nc10 but it's taken a battering (entirely my own fault) and this would be nice assuming it has a 6 cell.

    MUST RESIST

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 963 ✭✭✭chavezychavez

Sweet deal, just ordered one for a mate of mine who was on the lookout for one for his buurrd.

I'd nearly get one for myself, only my mini 10 is still ploughing away happily. I need to hit the "Unfollow" button on BA. Its getting expensive to be in here

Hi guys, was considering getting the Samsung N210 in Argos for €325. Would there be much difference in the N130. I've looked at some reviews for the N130 and the one negative they highlight is the audio quality. How do those that have it find the sound quality?

Would i be crazy spending the extra €130 on the N210 when this is available at such a good price?

Yes.. to be honest, you're not buying a netbook for the audio quality of inbuilt speakers - use headphones and you'll be grand.

    Nope, Netbook's don't have a CD/DVD drive.

You could buy an external CD/DVD writer drive if needs be, but probably more hassle than it's worth to haul both around.

you'd need a seperate external burner (usb)
which should come with burning software

while it would work a more standard laptop should be much better for this sort of thing, more processing power for any encoding of video or audio needed

    do you accept laser cards?
    From the Gruupy page above:
We don't currently support Laser or Paypal, however we will be adding those options in the very near future.
    will you have any 2mrw?
It's typically a different product each day, so I'd doubt it.

As Basquille said, we don't yet accept Laser, but we will be very, very soon.

And no, we won't have any more of these in stock tomorrow, however if you go to our site tomorrow, go to the "Recent Deals" section, there is a "Bring it Back" button, and if we see enough people demanding we rerun a certain deal, then we'll get more for you.
