I have not been with a man for a while now. There is a man i like and i think there might be something there between us. But should the opportunity arise and there is a date, i dont know what to do. I dont want to do the deed with him but would playing around be acceptable or would that be seen as sluty?

Nothing that makes you uncomfortable is the best answer I can think of. As a man, I'd only hope for a kiss on a first date.

A little kissing is totally acceptable of a first date, perhaps some heavy petting, make him wait for sex, as a guy I know it always make me more interested.

And lots of guys are more interested in a woman who knows what she wants and doesn't play 'waiting' games. Not saying that either approach is objectively 'right', but no-one knows what this guy will respond to.

OP, the best approach is do what you want to do. If you want to sleep with him, go ahead. If you want to 'play around' instead, do that. If you want a kiss at the door and more dates before you decide whether you want to go further with him, do that.

Maybe he'll dump you if you don't "put out", maybe he'll dump you if you're "too easy". In either case, he's not someone you'd want to be with anyway. You can't control what he'll think about any approach

as said above, whatever you are comfortable with.

when you know someone already it may come easier or sometimes you might be more worried about the 'what ifs'.

Just relax and do what feels right for you
