I'm doing a couple of pieces on the revival of Irish Pro Cycling in the last few years, and I've secured an interview with our current Irish Champion Matt Brammeier.

So has anyone got questions for him ?

1. Contador

3. What's his ultimate goal, one where he would retire happily knowing that he had achieved it

I'd ask him about making the jump to protour races and if he's nervous about the general increase in speed/miles....

Isn't he just likely to kick to touch on anything remotely controversial like doping, Contador etc? If he's just got a one year contract he won't be getting controversial and getting a name for the wrong reasons

How about asking him about his training and nutrition, best / worst moment so far on the bike, recovering from his accident, London 2012 (has he ambitions in that direction).......


.......ask him who his favourite hurler is!!!

You could ask if he's ever jumped a red light / cycled at night with no lights / gone the wrong way along a one-way street / cycled on the footpad

Questions 1. Who`s been his greatest mentor so far in his career and why
2. How scientifically does he train- power meter etc.
3. What`s his stats - hight, weight and % body fat
