Too Much Low Calorie Food?

I'm worried about the quantity of food I'm eating, as opposed to the calories in it as I'm not putting on weight. What concerns me is that I seem to eat an awful lot more than everybody else in terms of quantity, for a fairly inactive teenage girl (I only walk, and do karate twice a week). I know my diet is far from ideal in terms of sugar and grains.
    For example, today I had:

    7:30 - 1/2 cup porridge made with 200ml milk
    1 tablespoon peanut butter
    1 apple
    Green tea

    11:30 - 5 almonds
    Green tea

1:00 - Big salad of mixed leaves, boiled egg, steamed chicken breast, olives, shredded carrott, peppers, small amount of feta cheese and mixed beans.
2 slices of Mcambridge's brown bread with spread
    1 plum

    6:00 - 1 banana
    1 square dark chocolate

    8:00 - 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
Big serving vegetables 'fried' in broth
    Quorn pieces
    Plum

    10:30 - Apple

Also munched on a few strawberries throughout the day

Does this sound like an abnormal large amount of food to be eating? I know some people would just eat a sandwich for lunch and nothing else, but that wouldn't fill me up because there's so little inside it. Would I be better off eating smaller portions of more calorie-dense foods e.g cheese, meat, etc. I always feel that even though people I know are heavier than me, if I ate the amount of food they eat I'd be hungry all the time because they don't eat as much as I do in terms of quantity, they just eat larger portions.

Actually, no, it doesn't sound like a lot of food. Okay, it's a long list, but that's because you've listed things like "5 almonds" and "Square chocolate." Those are not meals, or even snacks. Also, your food looks pretty low in protein and extremely low in fat.

Two hours of karate a week will burn a lot of calories. Add some brisk walking and life as usual, and you do need a fair bit of food.

    Lets look at the positives

You are not putting on weight
You are eating plenty of fruit and veg
    You eat porridge

You are not eating a bad diet, but it has been pointed out that it is low on protein and quality fats but this would be easy to modify.

However, you have an unhealthy attitude to food if you are counting 5 almonds and obsessing about your diet and what other people eat. Don't worry so much about it.

You have a long life ahead of you, eat a healthy diet and enjoy your food.
