If I knew this earlier I might have made a run to Waterford just to get away from the grey damp stuff.

You would have been down here in an hour on the M9. Was great to feel the warmth of the sunshine especially after all this dull and damp stuff we have had all week.:)

Incredibly mild here at the moment - can't believe how "warm" the wind feels outside - it's 15.2C here right now. My weather station shows that the temperature shot up by 4 degrees at about 5.30am

The temperature contrast across the UK and Ireland is amazing at the moment with low single figures in Scotland and mid-high teens elsewhere. xcweather shows the contrast nicely - click on the "Temp" link on the right hand side to see the temperature colours: http://www.xcweather.co.uk/

The radar show that the rain has past & now we have a few hours of "drizzle" which, when travelling at 20 mph, gets you soaked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,009 ✭✭✭Storm 10

Cant understand Met Eireann Radar its coming down very heavy drizzle here at present yet nothing showing on the radar, seems very strange that it would not pick it up.
