Advice about no-egg diet.

    Hello,

I am in the process of changing my diet fairly drastically. It's going well, but I don't get enough protein in.

I'm allergic to eggs unfortunately so can't have them at all.

Has anyone any ideas as to a high-protein brekkie that doesn't involve eggs?

I am eating lots of raw and roast veg, hummous, beans. Chicken when I have time, kiwis and apples. I have sushi once a week.

Also cashew nut butter on corn cakes, sometimes peanut butter in a smoothie.

I'm 14 stone 1 from 15 earlier this year. Have only started seriously working on my diet in the last week or so, cutting out sugar was the biggie for me as I gave up smoking in July and while, at the time I didn't binge on sweets, I noticed lately that I was cramming myself full of sugar.

I'm in college so have to be very organised about what I eat or else it'll be some crap from the canteen or worse; the shop.

    Any ideas for me?

Perhaps throw some cottage cheese, milk and some fruit into a blender and have yourself a nice breakfast smoothie?

Would you believe I've never tasted cottage cheese?

Must give it a go. Thanks.

    Heaps of bacon.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I'm trying to lose weight. Would bacon not be very fatty?
