Not too sure if they make a difference with any gun other than the fal , i've seen a few using them with the fal , its annoying but usually they 're not very good anyway.

I was accused of using it before because of the way I could use the G3 and then later the FAL. I just use my thumb to shoot like an automatic. All natural baby :cool: :pac:


But yeah, in short it's pretty sad if someone feels the need to gain any little advantage by use of modded controller *cough* WoR *cough*.

I think the whole idea surrounding it is great.

However, if someone is so rubbish at the game that they feel the need to use one, they should not have purchased said game in the first place.

I think it's just a form of cheating, along the same lines as boosters but thankfully not as game breaking. Luckily most of the players I've seen with rapid-fire controllers are pretty rubbish at the game in general anyway, so don't see much of a difference really. Would rather spend my time ruining a booster's day :P

It's fairly easy to tell if someone is using a modded controller with the FAL - the speed and, more importantly, the sound pattern of the fire gives it away. They are usually fairly rubbish, as others have said, so while it's annoying it's not likely to win them the game.

I dont know whether to hate them or love them meself.they do have a good point which is faster firing with single shot rounds.

Rapid fire controllers? Could someone give me a link to any website that actually sells them because ive never seen them before. I know a few people that have been accused of using them but they just have a fast finger.

Well, with the accuracy and power of the FAL it would actually be fierce handy. You can put someone down in 2 shots with SP.

Either way, you'd have to be a complete loser to purchase a controller from that site. Or any other selling such Mods.

Yeah but EvilControllers are top of the range stuff but you can buy a modded controller for about 30 euro in Argos

What does the rapid fire actually do, fire multiple shots at once or just speed up the rate of a semi-auto weapon? I've never really played MP on consoles, so I wouldn't have come across it really.

It changes the signal from the button so it's as if you're pushing it really really quickly. Kinda changes the weapon to fully auto.

Never really had any obvious problem with them. I rarely get killed with the FAL, so certainly don't have a problem there. And the G18's are auto anyway, so not sure why it'd help them.

I did notice it one time recently where a guy with one was using a Barrett. Talk about a noob. I mean it was ridiculous. You kept hearing Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap, silence, Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap-Rap as he flew through the clips on the gun in about 2 seconds and then had to reload. But the kill feed was staying blank. Talk about pointless. I figured out who it was, and needless to say he finished pretty heavy in the negative stakes.

reminds me of scripting on pc games, i guess it made PC gaming more interesting. Used to beable to make scripts for EVERYTHING on cs, bunny hopping scripts, burst first scripts, quickscoping scripts. Crazy. If someones gonna spend the money on these controllers, **** it, doesnt bother me. They give you an advantage using a gun that even with rapid fire isnt nearly as good as half the other guns in the game and pistols i guess WOOOOO CHEATERS !
