what about porridge oats with milk or home made muesli with oats, seeds, nuts and dried fruit? scrambled egg also an option but probably not really desk food.. maybe fruit?

there are various receipes for egg based muffins on the net, you can add various veg n' stuff , wouldnt eat them every day but you can make a batch and freeze them

I make these for work. On the weekends I'll make a big omelette with whatever's in the fridge.

You can make pancakes with the porridge oats, if you put raisins in them and make them thick they are sort of like scones. They could be put in a toaster if you have one in work.

    more info & suggestions here

Think I found the perfect breakfast - 40g Kelkin granola, kids size banana chopped in with the new activita pourable yoghurt! keeps me full for ages and is desk friendly. I also have a home-made smoothie mid morning.

Not to rain on your parade, but you're probably consuming wayyy more sugar now in one form or another. Whether its from fruit, cereals or table sugar it's all the same to your pancreas really at the end of the day.

Just did a spot of googling, to make sure I didn't wrongly judge the Kelkin, turns out all three are very high in sugar. If cutting carbs if your aim, I'd try and find a protein and fat based alternative. Or make your own sugar-free granola in big batches.
