Which edition of BO will you get?

• Normal - €50-60

• Hardened - €75/80 - 4 extra maps

• Prestige - €160ish - extra maps and RC car

If it's true the 4 extra maps(zombies isn't it?) isn't released as DLC for those who buy the normal edition well that's frankly BS. Surely Treyarch aren't so stupid to miss out on that boat.

I'll be getting the Normal version if it's true that seemingly every place is either sold out of the hardened version. I I cba'ed buying prestige version. 80 euro give or take for an RC car that might provide some ****s n giggles for a day or two at most but then resigned somewhere to collect dust. Meh.

*No poll as I'd like to read some opinions and reasoning for choices.

Gettin the hardened version cos the fella in gamestop asked if i wanted it when pre-ordering. I wasn't bothered askin about the prestige edition, doesn't seem worth it to me.

Exclusive Black Ops PlayStation Home Avatar outfit.
Four extra co-operative maps.

I seriously don't think treyarch are stupid enough to not give regular users DLC which i don't mind paying for if they turn out to be good

I'll be doing same as tallon . Tesco is literally a two min walk from the house I'm renting in galway. Worked out well for FIFA too !

Ah the 4 extra maps are for ze zombies.Always thought the zombie add on was crap(I know im in the minority for that!)

Will be getting the standard version as I wouldnt pay for zombie maps and not gonna pay for an RC car.

Normal for me aswell, and zombie maps if they're released as DLC. I would have gotten the hardened if it wasn't sold out everywhere though

I can almost guarantee that the zombie maps in the hardened edition will be dlc at some stage but could be months after release, This is activision we are talking about, they said the same last year that call of duty classic will be exclusive to the hardened edition only for it to go on sale a few weeks later. But do they justify an extra €20 on top of the normal edition, prob be around 10-15 for the maps on the store and they could be tied up in the 360 DLC timed exclusive deal. Be suprised if they sell out of the hardened edition cause at the MW2 midnight launch they asked if i wanted the H edition, pre order or no pre order.

I'll probably get the normal version for the 360 seeing as it treyarch . It better be a big improvement on waw otherwise back to mw2 .

I dont think tesco will have it out for 12. A few people on here went there last year and waited around til 2 before leaving empty handed. Might be just some tescos thou.

Would have bought the hardened for the maps if I had the money. I don't care about any medal.... prob would have gone straight into the bin anyways.
Looking forward to it though. Might join the BRDS clan some night and show ye how it's done:D!

There were huge problems with the majority of Tesco branches going from the FIFA release day thread if anyone was following that(twas hilarious). Quite a number of branches released FIFA at 6am due to some new rules enforced thanks to EA. Plus the few who did get it at 12am paid 70 euros. At 9am for me it was 45 or 49 euro(I forget) :pac: They eventually got their difference back though.

Like I have done for the majority of games in my lifetime. I'll pick it up sometime around 9am, hopefully in Tesco of course.

Just pre-ordered my copy from game, will more than likely get it in sainsbury's on release day, last year they did mw2 for £26, think it'll probably be £30 this year as long as you buy £30 worth of **** in store... 3 crates beer ???

I think harvey norman had the standard one last year for 37euro. I would say either harvey norman, tesco or maybe smyths would be the cheapest this year. Some places may offer a free tshirt or something. Argos have free dogtags with BO.

Ì actually realy enjoyed WaW..its got the mp40 for ffs!Still gave it a go when the xbox was working.Each to there own.

Having said that I didnt particularily enjoy MW1 so was pleasantly surprised with IW's MW2.So maybe treyarch might do something special for you shammy!

Normal edition for me, and I'm usually mad for Special Editions (have all the Assassins Creeds top releases)

Hardened edition is not worth an extra 1/3 of the gameprice for me for four maps and a medal that will collect dust and frankly look a bit lame on my shelf and a Home avatar (which I don't use)

At least last years Hardened included the original Call of Duty which was worth it, but for four maps, nah.

Regular edition here. Have vouchers for both HMV and Gamestop so whomever has it cheaper on the day I stroll down will get my business. Can't be affording special editions.

There is no hardened edition for the PC just the one base version, with the extra stuff included free of charge
