I usually have about4 of these with 30-40grams peanut butter before bed and I was told thatt they are very High GI and not recommended. I am bulking at present. Should I still give them up. I have substituted them for bread due to the lower carb content

The GI scale is not very useful in estimating anything.

Especially if you're bulking, doesn't matter when you eat your calories/carbs/etc, as long as you eat some over maintenance.

So keep doing it if you like them :)

For bulking, they are fine. Why are you restricting carbs on a bulk?

For the amount of weight you need to gain - i wouldnt be worrying about the rice cakes tbh. Just get those calories in.
