    You need to stay in a permanent job until retirement age :D

    just joking.. the minimum notice in your contract, basically. Usually a month but maybe more.

    Can you rephrase the question, as it doesn't really make much sense.

    There is no minimum amount of time to work in a permanent job. You could agree with an employer to work a set period (X months/years), but that's not permanent.

    In a normal job, you're considered permanent if you get past your probation period, which is usually 6 months.

    You do not have to commit to any particular timeframe in a permanent job. However, your contract might state that you have to repay back any training / education fees if you leave within x years of completing the course.

    Your contract will most likely specify a notice period, but that is rarely more than 1 month for most employees (but sometimes 3 months or possibly even more for very senior positions).
