    Welcome to BWA Raw
coming to you live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada

After the Pyro's go off and the crowd finally settle we are met by that old familiar music of former BWA chairman, the man himself Bounty Hunter who makes his way down to the ring and addresses the BWA universe.

Once the crowd have finally stopped chanting "BWA BWA BWA" he starts on a rather sombre tone talking about how seeing their rivals MNG productions win the boards.ie Draft war last year hurt the company badly. How the man he had lost his controlling share of the company to ("Daddy Del Rio"Dos Caras) not only blamed him but all of the talent in the BWA for this result and as a result made their lives a living hell afterwards. The aftermath of this saw many of the federations top names either leave or be driven out of the company. Austin, Jake, Kobashi all left and eventually Del Rio himself abandoned ship, the ship he almost brought down, as he realized that no matter what he did he couldn't turn things around. So who did the BWA board turn to but none other than me, Bounty Hunter!
    photo-1746024.jpg?_r=0

They asked me to draft a whole new roster of guys, guys who had never before graced the great BWA arenas of the past but who could return this great promotion to it's rightful place at the top of the PW world and tonight, tonight is the night we hit the restart switch. Tonight is the night it all begins again. Tonight you will be introduced to the new BWA title holders and perhaps get a sneak at who will challenge them at next months Judgement Day PPV. It is also the night that the BWA board have said they will appoint a new man in change (he seems to gesture that it will be himself) and he says that if that is himself he promises that his first action in that role will be to crown a new BWA World Heavyweight champion!

all his announcents especially the last have gotten a big reaction from the fans in attendance and yet he says they arent here to listen to him on the mic they are here to see some wrestling so without further adieu he presents the new BWA Tag team champions of the World....Demolition!

Demolition vs Steve Johnson & John Stevenson

This is a match 100% designed to showcase just how impressive Demolition really can be as among other big power moves Ax delivered not one but two big Swinging neckbreakers before the crowd was treated to Tandem repeating double axe handle blows to their grounded grounded opponents whom they finally put to the sword with their Demolition Decapitation (Backbreaker hold / Diving elbow drop combination) in a real dominant display which truely displayed why they are the new BWA tag team champions of the world.

    Winners: Demolition

    *backstage segment*
Zack Ryder is furiously typing away on his laptop when Santino Marella enters the dressing room. The two chest bump before Santino fist bumps the air saying "woop woop woop, you knows it!" this makes Ryder smile "close enough" things get a bit more serious though when they have a bro to bro talk and Zack explains that team Co-Bro might not be able to wrestle together anymore and that the BWA management are making him defend his Internet championship on the show. Santino looks glum but once Ryder explains The Milan Miracle will be his bro for life no matter what he cheers up and says that this is actually an opportunity for him and that starting tonight with his match with "The six million dollar man" he will prove what he has known all along, that Santino Marella is the greatest wrestler of all time, then replacing the fist bump with his patented trumpet he woop woop woops out of the room.
    raw-zack-ryder-and-santino_4hlvn_1ukeul.jpg

In ring segment w/The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase who is accompanied to the ring by Andre The Giant

Dibiase tries to start to address the audience but the crowd tonight seem very anti the Million Dollar man and are on his back booing him from the get go - "Boo me if my suit is worth more than the house you live in" - The crowd stop for a moment as if to think about what he has just said and Dibiase uses this opportunity to get started with another impaction statement - "Money isn't everything. It's the only thing." and that's something former (emphasis on the former) chairman Bounty Hunter should remember when the BWA board announce me as the new man in charge around here! He goes on to state that he too has been in negotiations with the powers that be and that BH shouldn't feel bad when they pick him, it's not personal but...(some parts of the crowd even say the next line with him despite his insulting them earlier)..."Everybody's got a price for the Million Dollar Man"
    million-dollar-man-laugh-o.gif
He then states that his next match will be an example of his reign to come as he plans to eradicate all the nonsensical side attraction style wrestlers Bounty Hunter has made a part of this fine brand altogether, starting with this man.

out comes (to a great reception) Santino Marella

    Ted Dibiase vs Santino Marella

Santino is (perhaps surprisingly) able to hold his own for much of this match really impressing with his grappling skills. He does however always have one eye on the big man in Dibiase's corner weary of possible interference. It was during one such lapse of focus that (while Santino was looking back at Andre) Dibiase grabbed him from behind and went for a Belly to back suplex only for Santino to shock Ted and the audience by countering it with a Santino Split-legged Stunner! Dibiase was dazed just long enough for Santino to reach down into his tights and pull out the cobra getting a big pop from the crowd and then a secondary one when a dazed million dollar man turns around and is immediately caught by the Cobra Strike. This sends him stumbling back but does not floor Dibiase so Santino reaches back as the commentators say the "cobra is coiled and ready to strike again" only for Andre to reach over the ropes grabbing Santino's hand and stopping the attack. The Cobra wriggles free though and as a result of his interference it's Andre who is sent crashing from the ring apron to the floor outside the rid as the cobra strikes him instead. This distraction is all The Million Dollar Man needed though and he locks in the Million Dollar Dream Cobra clutch and eventually Santino passes out, at which point Ted places his boot on his opponents chest and the ref counts 1,2,3 for the win.
    Winner: Ted Dibiase

The commentators really talk up Santino's display though and say that if not for the Giant on the outside his valiant effort may have result in a huge win and upset here tonight but unfortunately Santino's night isn't over yet as the now enraged Andre climbes into the ring and delivers a vicious beatdown on Santino which culminated when the big man hit a seated Senton on the downed Marella.
    lpfkX.gif

After the match Zack Ryder rushes out to ringside to help Santino who it appears is ok but obviously feeling the effects of whats just happened to him.

*We go backstage to an interview segment with Mene Gene Okerlund*
Mean Gene: I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the newest tag team in the BWA lockeroom starting with their leader, this man Michael P.S Hayes.

at this point Hayes grabs the Mic and shoos Okerlund out of their dressing room.

Hayes: Sorry Gene but not that we should need to but we can introduce ourselves. Yes my name is Michael P.S Hayes, By the way the "P.S." stand for Purely Sexy ladies but I guess thats clear to see and yes I've been known to get the crowd as well as the ladies going with my antics but this here is the man the rest of the BWA lockeroom should be worried about. The Powerhouse of our trio, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy. Why Bam Bam you ask? well simple cos he loves to fight and beat his opponents down Bam Bam. Not to sell this man short (gestures towards Roberts) cos Buddy here is a tecnical mastermind in the ring and a real speed demon and when he isn't pounding shots of Jack he helps complete our great team that will ground and pound anyone into submission, so we are putting every tag team in the BWA on notice the only reason we aren't wearing BWA tag gold right now is cos we've only just gotten here but you will find out soon, The Freebirds rule!
    wc_10_freebirds.JPG

Before the following match the announcers recap a recent twitter feud Zack Ryder had with the champion of a Indie federation from New York over the fact that Zack never defends his Internet championship against anyone - tonights match is a result of that with NYW champion Dave Shadow traveling up from the big apple to Calgary tonight to challenge for the title which Zack has vowed to defend more often.

Zack Ryder vs Internet challenger from NYW Dave Shadow

Not a total squash match but a very impressive display against the indie champion from long island iced Z who eventually picked up the 3 count victory following a Rough Ryder delivered to his opponent when he was downed in the corner. After the match the two shake hands which the announcers applaud

    Winner: Zack Ryder
    u4uo1.gif

We are then taken live to the Tokyo Dome in Japan where a massive press conference is taking place, it would seem something huge is happening in New Japan Pro Wrestling that the whole world of wrestling fans should be interested in:
    show_news_iconphp-3.jpg
It would appear that the two biggest stars in Japanese wrestling, The Ace of the Universe & The King of Strong Style, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Shinsuke Nakamura have decided to jump ship and leave their homeland. The press conference is held all in Japanese but the translation lets the BWA audience and no doubt all wrestling fans who are watching know that they say that they have done all they can do in NJPW and now they want to prove they are the best on a global scale. Tanahashi ends the press conference by saying that next week he plans to debut in a major US promotion and challenge who he calls the best the rest of the world has to offer

we then return to the ring for another big debut this time of a man recently traded to the BWA from Fusion Pro Wrestling, a man whom that promotion deemed a liability due to his wreckless style. His opponent a development wrestler named Gerorge Bailey (even looks like the guy from it's a wonderful life) is already in the ring and looks awfully nervous

    Bruiser Brody vs George Bailey

I don't think Bailey got a single punch or move in during this one and afterwards the commentators were full of puns about how it didn't seem like a wonderful life for him now after a seemingly enraged Brody (the announce team speculate he's always like that) pummeled him with so many rights and lefts, big boots and eventually finished the job with a skull crushing jumping knee drop. Eventually BWA security personal had to forcefully (it took about 8 of them) remove the Brawler from the ring and ushered him to the back.

    Winner: via TKO Bruiser Brody
    Bruiser+Brody.jpg

We head backstage to where we see Bounty hunter speaking to someone standing off camera, BH informs this mystery person that with a brand new roster like this, there has been a huge amount of debuts already tonight and seing as he is at least temporarily in charge he has decided that a big star such as himself shouldnt be sharing the stage with so many other debuts and therefore he says that next week makes more sense. Seemingly this person agrees as BH then says he is going to head out to the ring to confirm that it will still infact be him in charge next week when it comes to introducing this new recruit.

    *commercial break*

When we return Bounty Hunter is already standing in the ring microphone in hand, he talks about how he was there back in 2008 when Hulk Hogan & John Cena fought over the BWA world title, in 09 When Muhammad Ali tried to become a world champion, 2010 when the entire Von Erich clan tried to run roughshod over the promotion. He was there in 2011 with Jenna Jameson by his side as Ricky Steamboat reached the top of the mountain and in 2012 as Daniel Bryan did the same by defeating the Game HHH. Last year in what he says was the worst moment of his life he lost control of the BWA to a cheating conniving SOB who who almost ran this great company into the ground before fecking off but now he is back in command even though it is only for the tonight but wishes for nothing more than another chance to run the BWA, and if the BWA board give him that chance he will be glad to unveil the new BWA world champion and he signals to the top of the ramp, next to the titantron where a top a pedestal sits the most prestigous prize in all of sports entertainment, The BWA world championship.

He is interrupted though by Ted Dibiase who comes out to the ring with Andre The Giant. They stop momentarily on their way to the ring to admire the gold but are quickly in the former chairmans face who doesn't back down. The Millon dollar man talks about how annoyed he is that Bounty Hunter didn't heed his warning earlier tonight because he didnt want to see him once more reduced to tears as someone else namely him takes control of the BWA right infront of him but that money talks and...

"excuse me, I am sorry to interupt but I have a message from the BWA board of management"

it's BWA backstage interviewer Josh Matthews, Dibiase looks incensed and Josh himself looks scared sh!tless as he enters the ring and stand between Bounty Hunter and The Million Dollar Man with Andre staring down at him from above. "Go on then! read it out" Dibiase barks at him.
a nervous Josh Matthews unfolds a piece of paper and begins to read a per-prepared statement

Due to recent developments, where a third party has shown interest in this position we have decided to put back our decision a number of weeks. (Dibiase looks furious / BH looks devastated)
However we have decided to appoint an interim General Manager who will take care of things until our final decision is made.
(Dibiase looks sure it will be him / BH looks quizzical)
A man who has been described as "universally respected by other wrestlers" and therefore one we believe will make the right choices for the BWA

He stops reading then and looks confused as if there simply is no more to read, the announcers wonder who the board were referring to, Is it Dibiase? is it Bounty Hunter? is it someone else? but moments later all these questions and more are answered as the roof is lifted off the building in Caglary due to the massive crowd reaction as this music hits

It's Bret "The Hitman" Hart!, who comes out and soaks up the adulation from his hometown crowd before walking over to the podium and lifting up the BWA world title which he then drapes over his shoulder before looking back towards the ring and giving a cheeky wink to all those inside it as the show goes off the air

Ep1: Bounty Hunter, The Million Dollar Man and perhaps a third unknown figure want control of the BWA

Bret has been appointed temp GM until a decision on the above has been made and seemingly has taken the world title for himself

Demolition are the new BWA tag champions but The cocky freebirds have arrived upon the scene and mean business.

Team Co-Bro is no more but they are still buddies and have each others back

New recruit Bruiser Brody is a wild man, can anyone tame the beast

Tanahashi and Nakamura are heading stateside having done all they can in NJPW, will they show up in the BWA

more big name debuts guaranteed next week

    Welcome to BWA Raw
coming to you live from Houston, Texas

After the Pyro's go off and the crowd finally settle we are met by the entrance theme of New interim General Manager Bret "The Hitman" Hart who comes out to a great reception and is wearing the BWA championship belt around his waist. There is also a large Judgement Day sign in the background (a la the Mania sign you see during the build up to that on Raw etc) perhaps he will shed some light on what he has planned for the PPV

He starts by explaining why he accepted the interim GM position and also why he has made himself the BWA world champion - “I never used to really think of myself as a role model but then I started looking at the people out there who some kids look up to. I don't think they give the right message to kids. I realised that I'm identifiable worldwide and I've found that I have a pretty good rapport with kids.” thats why even if it's for a short while he wants to be the one to lead the BWA forward and even once he is no longer the General Manager he will still be able to represent this great brand as the champion. He further emphasizes his point by making it personal and saying - "My kids don`t watch wrestling. They don`t want to. And if they did want to, as a parent, I wouldn`t let them. I`ve said before, and I`ll say it again, wrestling is not for kids anymore."
    Bret-Hart.jpg

The crowd seem to have very quickly cooled on Bret whom they had given a rousing reception, there are even 1 or two audible boos. Bret reacts with annoyance to this and lashes out saying he would expect no less from an American audience than to boo someone who is trying to restore some credibility to this great sport. (The boos increase as he refers to America in a negative light).

"New Yorkers like you wouldn't understand I still take being a positive role model for kids very seriously, and I even enjoy the responsibility that goes along with it"

with every sentence he says the boos become louder which leads to his comments becoming harsher

"If you were gonna give the United States of America an enema you'd stick the hose right here in Texas!" (Boooooooo!) I don't have to take this, I am the best there is, The Best there was and The Best there ever will be and If you want to act like the ungrateful yanks you are then you wont get to see me wrestle here tonight, you won't see a new womens champion crowned tonight, you wont get my plans for Judgement day, in fact you won't get anything I had planned for the first night of the new BWA or as I like to call it Bret's Wrestling Association.

The crowd are really booing him now, it's almost defening but moments later it stops as a surprise theme hits and suddenly the crowd understand why they were shown all those "International wrestling news clips" before the show

it's Tanahashi! screams someone from the crowd as a stunned Bret Hart watches the Ace of the Universe make his way down to the ring, he goes and poses in 3 of the 4 turnbuckles for the crowd before going face to face with Bret in the center of the ring in an epic staredown. Slowly Bret brings the microphone up to his mouth but Tanahashi stops him and then puts his finger to his lips making a shush sign before using that same finger to point at Bret then himself and then up and to the right. Both mens heads turn and look directly where he is pointing and yup you guessed it, it's right at the Judgement day sign. It seems no words are needed a challenge has clearly been layed down as Hiroshi Tanahashi turns and heads to the 4th turnbuckle and once more poses for the fans, this time to a much bigger reaction. From atop the 3rd turnbuckle he then looks back at Bret in the center of the ring one last time before performing a backflip and landing on his feet on the outside. No matter what they knew about him before tonight the BWA universe have been impressed and won over by the "High Flying Star" form the east who now struts down the aisle and towards the back stopping occasionally to point at the Judgement day sign.

Natalya w/Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart" vs Jane Jobber

Natalya looks pissed off, the announcers speculate that she probably expected to be announced as the new BWA womens champion here tonight but the fact that she gets boo'd as she enters the ring due to her association with Bret can't be helping her mood. Her Father is at ringside shouting instructions at her as the match progresses but she really needs no help here in what is essentially a squash match which she controls throughout, eventually getting the win with an impressive bridging German suplex pin.

    Winner: Nattie Neidhart
    Natalya_Neidhart_2-2.jpg
*Promo is played for next months Judgement day PPV*
    logo-jd04.jpg

*backstage segment with Natalya Neidhart & her father Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart*
Nattie tells Josh Matthews that she just showed out there why she deserves to be the BWA womens champion and why she expects that next week her uncle Bret will do the right thing and announce her as just that. It's at this point that the Anvil talks about how he is sure this will be the case as "we in the Hart family look after each other" and he says that Bret like himself couldn't be any more proud of Natalya. He then seems to spot something out of the corner of his eye and wanders off towards some containers in the background as Josh does his sign off and throws back to the announcers at ringside we see The Anvil remove what appears to be a title belt from the trash!

In ring The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase stand with Andre The Giant by his side and a Microphone in hand which he uses to lay down a challenge. He wants a showdown with whomever this 3rd mystery person that wants to be in charge of the BWA is and he wants it tonight in the ring. First though last week he was besmirched when Santino Marella pulled a freakin sock puppet from his shorts and attacked him with it, now he will pay the price! at which point somewhat reluctantly out comes Team Co-Bro back teaming together again tonight for this match.

Ted Dibiase & Andre The Giant vs Team Co-Bro

Team Co-Bro actually do well here as this one begins tagging in and out quickly and trying to keep Dibiase in the ring while they do. The commentators say it seems they want no part of Andre in this match. After a Broski Boot Ryder even attempts a pin on the Million Dollar Man but Dibiase kicks out before the count even hit 2, even if he hadn't Andre was over the ropes eager to get involved and could have broken it up. The Ref has his attention diverted due to having to usher the big man back to his corner and the dastardly Dibiase takes advantage catching Ryder with a low blow and then suddenly the momentum switched. Andre was tagged in and went to work on the downed Ryder, multiple elbow drops later and he lifted Zack to his feet and began taunting Santino by holding Ryder just inches outside his partners grasp in a viscious Bearhug and then a chokehold and finally put him out of his mysery with a Double underhook suplex

Winners: Ted Dibiase & Andre The Giant

after the match Santino is in the ring checking up on Ryder in a role reversal from last week and doesn't notice that Andre re-enters the ring behind him and drops a big elbow right on the back of his head. At this point Dibiase also re-enters the ring and crumples up a 20dollar note and stuffs it in Ryders mouth while Andre spotting the cobra peeking out of Santinos ring gear grabs it and rolls it up and stuffs it in his mouth. The two laugh and then head to the back on a sad night for the former team Co-Bro
    q0t6.jpg
*Sean Mooney tries to interview Demolition about The Fabulous Freebirds*
He askes them question after question related to the arrival of th Fabulous Freebirds in the WWE but they just look p!ssed at him and then walk off as we return back to ringside

The Fabulous Freebirds vs The Brothers Doe (6man tag match)

The following is a complete squash match with the Freebirds really showing their stuff against the family of jobbers. They enjoyed near total domination throughout the rather short match with the only slight rest bite their opponents recieved was when Demolition appear at the top of the ramp and Hayes, Gordy and co temporarily take their eye off the prize. Moments later though after Gordy took his first punch in the entire bout the big man now angered delivered a huge Powerbomb and got the 3 count.

    Winner: The Freebirds
    Freebirds.jpg

The commentators then divert our attension away from the ring and to an article that was posted only moments ago on BWA.com, one section in particular is highlighted. This is a message from the BWA board to the fans and references a major announcement.
The BWA board have organized the debut of at least 1 major star for tonights BWA Raw and we are not referring to Hiroshi Tanahashi . Stay tuned to our live broadcast to find out who we are talking about, it will happen during tonights final segment but until then enjoy the show!
    4w6u.jpg

As soon as that announcement is made the commentators begin speculating about who could be debuting tonight, nobody is too sure but they think it could be Shinsuke Nakamura considering we have already seen Tanahashi here tonight.

The announcing team are pleased to announce that no matter who it is tonight it wont be the only big name arriving in the BWA as there has been a lot of buzz on the internet about another BWA debut coming next week namely Mojo Rawley which they can now confirm 100% as happening!
    hqdefault.jpg

It would seem we are choc a block full of debut news at the moment as we are now treated to the in-ring debut of Hiroshi Tanahashi and debunking the announcers theory (this isn't the final segment of the night) Shinsuke Nakamura accompanies him to ringside.

Hiroshi Tanahashi w/Nakamura vs Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart

Bret Hart is watching on a monitor backstage, there is a woman with him but it doesn't look like it is Nattie. I doubt Bret is too happy with what he sees though as his brother in law really struggles in this match up, with Tanahashi simply being too quick for him. The Japanese wrestler wowed the crowd with impressive moves like his Dragon Rocket Suicide dive and High Fly Flow Frog splash before making him tap to his Cloverleaf. Bret will have his work cut out for him against this man.
    hiroshi+tanahashi+%252817%2529.jpg

In the back we see former BWA chairman Bounty Hunter exiting the GMs office and walking down the corridor looking dejected as Ted Dibiase walks by bumping BHs shoulder as he does but not breaking his purposeful stride even for a moment as he heads out to the ring. We head to a commercial but are informed that The Million Dollar Man will call out the man challenging him for power in the BWA when we return.

    *Commercial break*

We return to see Ted (accompanied by Andre) in the ring and on the mic. He says that as they showed tonight nobody can compete with them in the ring and nobody can compete with his Wallet so who better to have in charge than The Million Dollar. He then calls out whoever thinks they could possibly compete with him... a few second go by and nobody emerges and he says its no surprise and guesses they were intimidated by his financial and physical musicle when suddenly Santino comes out. Obviously the Milan marvel is still annoyed about what those two did to him and Ryder early tonight and he comes down to ringside shouting at them. Dibiase though says he knows Santino barely has two pennies to rub together and couldn't be his competitor and tells Andre to take care of him. This leads to Santino jumping the guard rail into the area next to the crowd but Andre sticks on him and himself climbs over and chases him off into through the crowd.

Now in the ring on his own Dibiase says "Well seing as nobody had the stones to come out here I guess I can now introduce you to the next owner of the BWA... just as he is about to say me! this music hits

my Gawd it's Dory & Terry Funk! shouts the commentator as the Funk brothers rush down the to the ring and get right up in The Million Dollar Man's grill who prehaps instinctively but definitely mistakenly tries to throw a big right hand on Dory who catches his hand before delivering and connecting with a big right of his own sending Dibiase stumbling right into another big shot this time from Terry Funk as the brothers begin a game of ping pong with Teds face and with each blow the crowd cheer before eventually Dory smacks him so hard on the Jaw he immediately drops to the mat (and eventually rolls to the outside) as the crowd go nuts and celebrate with the brothers from Texas.

    Welcome to BWE Payback

Kick Off Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Bad News Barrett
Due to being on the BWE Networks kick off show this match gets some good time and goes around 15mins and really does get the crowd warmed up.

"Let's go Ziggler, Bad New Barret" rings out throughout much of this match but it's the fans of Bad new who are celebrating after Wade avoids a fame asser from the top rope and then as Dolph get back to his feet hits him with a hellacious Bullhammer Elbow for the 3 count!

    Winner: Bad New Barrett
    WadeBarrett10_display_image.jpg?1359250870

Divas Championship Paige vs. Alicia Fox
This is quite a closely fought back and forth contest where the challenger argueably has most of the offense but as the commentators note Alicia lets her Crazy slip out for just one moment doing a little celebratory dance after hitting a nice suplex on Paige and that is all the champ needs. She is back to her feet like a shot and catches Fox off her guard with the page turner for the 3 count

    Winner: Paige
    alicia-fox-literally-a-fox.jpg

Alicia Fox goes really goes Crazy after losing and startes screaming as she makes her way up the exit ramp. As she does Eva Marie's music hits (yes she has her own music) and the Redhead makes her way out past the departing Fox. She doesent even make it as far as the ring though as the furious fox jumps her from behind and baytes lumps out of Eva Marie. Eventually She rolls into the ring to get away from Alicia who is ushered away but once in the ring ding ding, much to her shock her title match immediately begins.

Divias Championship Paige vs. Eva Marie
The entire match is shown in the replay moments later as Paige hits a big clothesline then picks up Eva for her Scorpion Crosslock which Michael Cole informs us has been renamed the P.T.O. (Paige Tap-Out)

    Winner and still champion: Paige!

Backstage we see the arrival of HHH, the COO is distracted by his ringing phone and bumps into Roman Reigns who tells him to watch where he is walking. HHH hangs up on whomever he is talking to and reminds Reigns that he is the one who brought him into the WWE and that he can take him out just as easily. Reigns then gets right up in Hunters face and reminds him of what happened the last time him and his buddies tried to take him out at Extreme rules and laughs in the COO's face before turning and walking off

The announcers are shocked at the balls The Shield member just showed as we return to ringside

    ----

US Championship Rusev defends vs. Mark Henry
Rusev is out first accompanied by Lana and carrying with him the Russian flag but not to be outdone the Worlds Strongest Man Mark Henry appears moments later sporting a Star Spangled Singlet

For a match with 2 such big beasts of men this one is surprisingly fast paced. The action even spills to the outside at one point when Rusev hits an impressive Jumping side kick knocking Henry to the outside. On the outside he encounters his first real challenge as this is not a meer squash match this is the worlds strongest man and he hits a worlds strongest slam on the outside. It takes him so long to get Rusev back into the ring though that when he does the Bulgarian is no longer subdued and instead catches Henry with a big Swinging Side Slam as he re-enters the ring.

Rusev Crush! shouts Lana and he stamps on his big opponents back before locking in his Accolade (Camel clutch) which Henry eventually taps to. A very impressive victory against a very tough opponent for the US champ.

    Winner: Rusev

    ----
Backstage we see Dean Ambrose who is taping up his wrists when he looks up and addresses someone off camera "look yeah, I know you don't like the big man and I know you would like if anybody but him wins tonight, and I know that I am a crazy and unpredictable bastard but do you really think some nice words and a promise of a title shot could sway me to betray my brothers". The camera zooms out a little bit to show a clearly disturbed COO Triple H as Ambrose points out that he knows he already tried this with with Rollins too telling him with HHHs help he would be a great champ and then he jokes about how Rollins said HHH described him, like Jeff Hardy without being a smackhead, but states that he believes in the shield and the shield cannot be bought so easily!

At this point the clearly pissed off looking Hunter just exits the room while Ambrose laughs at him and mockingly begs him to stay saying he is having loads of fun chatting to him

    ----

Intercontinenatal Championship: Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
Sheamus is in top form tonight but he needs to be as ADR is being his notorious aggresive self and he really does not let the Irishman have a moments rest in the early going especially working over his arm to perhaps weaken him for his submission later. the match takes a sudden turn though as Del rio goes for a superkick only to be caught by Sheamus and hit with his Irish Curse back breaker.

After this Sheamus takes charge delivering white noise but ADR kicks out after 2, This seemingly only angered the Celtic Warrior who immediatley ties Del Rio up in the ropes and starts the clubbing blows to the chest for thr Beats of the Bodhrán which the crowd count along to, much to their surprise though he doesent stop at 10 and keeps going until he reaches 20 after which they let out a big cheer. Del Rio looks completely out of it after this stumbling around the ring and as JBL says on commentary Sheamus is essentially putting Mexico's greates export out of his misery as he hits the Brogue Kick for the win.

    Winner and still champion: Sheamus
    IjkrS.gif

    ----
Backstage we get a quick interview segment with Daniel Bryan where Renee Young asks him about his health and if the arm that has been injured since all the way back at Wrestlemania will be ok as he faces the Beast incarnate Brock Lesnar tonight? after a long time thinking this over Bryan replies "No", he says that he probably shouldnt compete here tonight, his new wife doesent want him to, hell his doctor doesent want him to, but he says "If Brock wants my BWE World title, he may have to kill me to get it from me!"

as we return to ringside, the announcers look worried that such a prospect could actually be a possibility if Bryan isn't careful tonight

    ----

    Cesaro vs. Big Show
This is a surprisingly short match than some think could be over within the first minute or so as The Big Show connects with his KO punch almost straight away but much to the fans amusement Cesaro kicks out after 2. The fans in Chicago are cheering Cesaro as he gets back to his feet despite Big Show supposidly being the face here and after a few impressive european uppercuts he is right back in it a fact emphasized when in an impressive feat of strenght he performs a Delayed Gutwrench Suplex to the big man but doesent let up and instead grabs Big show and again wowing the crowd does the Cesaro swing much to Paul Heymans delight at ringside.

Show gets to his feet but is clearly dizzy and stumbles straight into a kick to the gut which is followed up by Cesaro's neutralizer finish, 1-2-3! a very impressive outing by The Swiss Superman

    Winner: Antonio Cesaro
    hqdefault.jpg

The commentators must show the replays of the KO Punch kickout, Suplex, Big Swing and Neutralizer at least 3 times each before the head backstage to where Renee Young has just stopped a very Happy Paul Heyman on his way back to his other client Brock Lesnar

    ----
Heyman takes exception to what he says is almost a mood spoiling question when Renee refers to his clients as "Bad guys". He says that Cesaro wasn't a bad guy tonight that the Chicago crowd actually cheered as he dispatched with the 500 pound bully the Big Show. He also says that Brock isn't a bad guy, unpopular yes but its not Brocks fault that the fans couldnt stand the fact that his client Brock Lesnar ended the Undertakers undefeated Streak at Wrestlemania. He says Brock Lesnar didn't cheat in that match, he didn't use any underhanded tactics, he was just the better man and that it will be the same tonight when Brock lesnar ends Daniel Bryans streak as the BWE champion. it wont be popular but (and he puts huge emphasis on this before heading into Brocks dressing room) it will happen!
    ----
*We then get a promo package highlighting how the John Cena Bray Wyatt feud has developed ever since Wrestlemania with special mention to how the love of Cena's life Nikki aka Boobie Bella has fallen under the spell of the eater of worlds Bray Wyatt in recent weeks*

Gauntlet Match Super Cena vs. The Wyatt Family

As Cena makes his way out the cameras find and focus on Bo Dallas and Cena can't help but react as he sees the new BWE superstar standing by the entrance ramp holding a "I BOlieve in you John" sign. He is nowheere to be seen as the wyatts emerge but pops up every so often during the match with other signs, "The Cenation BOlieves" or "BOlieve in SuperCena" for example
He faces Erik Rowan first and looks to be making short work of the big man until Nikki Bella wanders down to the ring once more looking completely out of it. Bray actually gives her a kiss on the cheek as she arrives and Cena is completely distracted and Rowan almost rolls him up for a 3 count which sends Bray into a fit of laughter at ringside (leaving Niki with Harper), this quickly changes though as Rowan tries to pick up Cena but instead gets pulled down to the Matt where Cena locks in his STF and makes him tap. 1 down

Immediately Luke Harper slides into the ring and starts attacking Cena not giving him a moment to rest. This leaves Nikki unattended and her sister uses this chance to charge down to ringside and try to get her to snap out of it. While this is happening Harper is really testing Cenas resolve and pushing him to the limit. HE hits a particularily impressive Spinning side slam for example which he follows up with a sitout powebomb but it only gets a 2 count. As he does Cena fights back though and eventually is able to hit an AA on Harper and get the 3 count. 2 down

Meanwhile on the outside Rowan following Brays orders is trying to get his hands on Brie but it turns out Brie brought with her a tazer! and she repeatidly shocks the big man. Eventually despite being shocked a number of times Rowan gets his hands on Brie causing her to start swinging the tazer around erratically trying to get loose. She accidentally shocks her sister before much to the fans amusement she also tazers Rowan in the balls. Somehow it seems that shocking was exactly what Nikki needed though as suddenly she doesent look likie she is under the wyatts spell although she is freaked out as if she has no idea where she is or how she got there. Her sister and her back up the rampway as Rowan and now Harper chase after them. Thankfully for the girls Daniel Bryan appears at the top of the ramp and protects them from the two big men as they make their way to the back. In the ring you can see Cena shouting at Bryan "Get them out of here" and again he has clearly let his thoughts for his woman take his eye off the action here as Bray wyatt is now in the ring and when he turn around boom Sister Abigal is delivered! not once but twice! he pins him 1, 2, 3!

    Winner: Bray Wyatt

after the match, Haper and Rowan both get into the ring and continue the beatdown with Bray who ties Cena up in the ropes before they take turn hitting him with big punch, knee and kicks to the face before eventually Bray takes Rowans mask and draps it over Cenas face as the Wyatts leave victorious.

Backstage we see Renee Young this time interviewing Heath Slater and questioning if 3MB is no more after Drew McIntyres walk out on Raw. Slater however tells her not to forget the Swoggle saying that they are still a 3man band bayybe! he then issues a challenge for McIntyre for tommorow night on Raw and says that going Solo won't work out so well for the Scot
*We then have another promo package this time showing how the the Shield defeated Evolution at Extreme rules and then despite HHH despising the shield, especially Reigns for having turned on him he gave them an opportunity, a triple threat match where the winner will become the new no.1 contender. Is he trying to destroy them from within? Will The Shield do what Evolution couldn't and tear themselves apart for a chance at the gold... find out Now!*

Number One Contenders Match: Reigns vs. Rollins vs. Ambrose

As this match is about to begin the announcers let us know that they have just been informed that this match is now a no DQ match but just as they are starting to question why they get their answer as HHH joins the team at ringside and says now the BWE universe will get to see just how far the Shield are really willing to go for a shot at the title.
Much like many wrestles shake hands before a fight these three do their fist bump in the center of the ring then seperate as the acion begins.

The pace is hectic as we begin but its Reigns who first seems to gain the advantage and after a Superman Punch goes for a pin on Ambrose but Rollins is there to break it up

Cole: You really don't like ROman Reigns do you Triple H?
HHH: The man is all braun and no Brains and that will be his downfall
Whomever it is, the third man seems to always be there to break up any pinfall attempt as this one progresses for example when Seth Rollins sprinboards off the ropes and hits Reigns with a diving high knee he only gets a 2 count thanks to Dean Ambroses interference.

Cole: So do you think Rollins could win tonight?
HHH: The Kid has a chance but he would need better back up than those other two if he was to go against Brock, look at how much they are enjoying beating on each other
Cole: It could be Daniel Bryan that faces the winner of this match too and it's a match of course they are going to hurt each other.
The action in the ring is really heating up with first Ambrose hitting Rollins with a front dropkick leaving him prone lying on the ropes before Reigns goes to the outside and hits a Running dropkick to Rollins completely taking him out and leaving it 1 on 1 in the ring. When Reigns gets back in the ring he tries to spear Ambrose but is sidestepped and Reigns hits the turnbuckle and as he stumbles back into the ring Ambrose hits his Dirty Deeds Headlock driver but Reigns just about kicks out at 2

Cole: So what about Ambrose, what do you make of him as a competitor?
HHH: Dean remind me of a young Bryan Pillman, he has some crazy ability but he's not there yet, lets say he needs to Evolve (he then continues to make references to his group Evolution and how they should still be considered a level above The Shield
Rollins is back the ring and brought with him a steel chair, it seems he will be ther first to take advantage of the addded no DQ stip but as he re-enters Ambrose tlks him into tossing the chair shouting that between the shield it will be man to man, a fair fight. Moments later though Reigns who hadn't been watching this whole interaction hits comes bouncing off the ropes and catches Rollins with a huge Spear!

HHH: O yeah thats fair, 1 distracts the other 1 attacks
Dean instead of focusing on the match seemingly turns to reigns to try and explain what had been happening between him and ROllins when boom! another Spear! and Reigns is left the one man standing. Well Rollins goes to get back up but a superman punch sends him to the outside

HHH: They are falling apart! Evolution is finally going to win!
Cole: What are you talking about, Evolution lost, you vs the Shield is long over
HHH: (he just gives Cole a real sh!t eating grin and says) is it? before dropping his headset
In ring Ambrose is slowley getting up but only so he can fall victim to a Roman Reigns Powerbomb but before he can go for a pin he is alerted to the fact that HHH is now in the ring behind him Sledgehammer in hand and he turns right into a gut shot form it, followed by a head shot. Randy Orton comes rushing down to the ring and as Reigns trys to get to his feet he catches him with an RKO. Ambrose is next to get up and his fate is a Pedigree as he is left broken on the mat before Randy kicks him to the outside. Rollins is back though and from outside climbs up the corner ring post and looks ready for a big dive attack on both Evolution members but they seem to have spotted him in time and Sledghammer in hand facing him he almost freezes on the top turnbuckle.

He onlys pauses a second or 2 though before actually blessing himself and then jumping, but much to everyones shock he comes down hard with a Curb Stomp on the head of Roman Reigns who he then turns over and pins. HHH counts 1, 2, 3! and then Randy Orton holds Rollins hand aloft!

there is a stunned silence around the arena until HHH grabs a mic and says "Your winner and the new no.1 contender, Welcome to Evolution Seth Rollins!"

They then leave to ring with Line in the Sand (Evolutions theme blaring out in the background).

    Winner: Seth Rollins
    zmn1f8fg0flcq5ka034.jpg

Backstage we go for our final time to tonight to Renee Young who is hoping to get a word from not just his advocate Paul Heyman but Brock Lesnar himself but she doesn't get the chance and is instead ingulfed in the Party time of the Exotic Express. They Party down the hallway past her leaving her all dishevelled and claiming "that bunny felt me up!" - In the background though Heyman and Lesnar can be seen leaving their dressing room during this, seems Renee missed her interview

back at ringside King seems convinced that Summer Rae, (the former Misses Fandangoo JBL points out) could be seen partying with Adam Rose! is she a rosebud? this line of discussion doesent get very far though as Brock Lesnar makes his entrance!
Brock emerges with Heyman by his side and witht them they have a casket, Heyman explains that this is the same casket The Undertaker had earmarked for Brock Lesnar, that before Wrestlemania the undertaker cut a promo where he had a casket for every victum of his legendary streak including Brock Lesnar. He mockingly suggestts that maybe the crowd didn't hear him earlier tonight so he will repeat himself now; "At Wrestlemania my client Brock Lesnar broke the undertakers undefeated streak and tonight my client Brock Lesnar will end Daniel Bryans streak as BWE champion!" he says however that they probably did hear when Daniel Bryan said tonight that to win the BWE Brock Lesnar may have to kill him. well says Lesnar "that leaves Daniel Bryan with 2 choices he can either march down to the ring and lay the BWE world title at my clients feet or (Brock whips open the casket door) or his faith awaits!" the two then make their way down to the ring and await the champion.
    91485de20174cbd4364a15d5867ddcf3.jpg

When Bryan does come out (to a great reception of YES chants) he gives the casket a worrying look gulps takes a deep breath then head to the ring and standing right infront of looks like he is going to lay the gold before Brock (as the crowd chant No No NO!) but instead he lifts one title up in each hand for another big YES chant. Brock looks like he could tear Bryans head off right there but Heyman calms him down at lest until the bell.

WWE World Championship Last Man Standing: Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar
As this one begins Bryan does his best to use any speed advantage he might have hitting missile dropkicks and european uppercuts to begin with. He looks to have the big man reeling as Lesnar seems unable to connect with any moves on the champ.

Lesnar rolls to the outside and begins to discuss strategy with Heyman when seemingly out of nowhere Air Goat arrives as performes a suicide dive through the ropes onto Lesnar.

Bryan rolls into the ring and Brock quickly goes after him but this pattern repeats itself with the former MMA champion unable to get near Bryan who continues to get shots in on him as the crowd chant YES. Eventually Brock is forced to the outside again and to Heyman who can be heard saying something about Bryan's predictability to Lesnar and wouldn't you know it moments later Bryan tries the same suicide dive but this time Brock is expecting it and impressively catches him mid air before ramming him shoulder first into the turnbuckle. The tables turn very quickly in this match now with the LMS rules coming to the forefront.

Bryan is up after a count of only 4 but Brock does a big Belly to back release suplex on the outside and even at this early stage Bryan is struggling against the power of Lesnar.

Brock then Grabs Bryan and goes for an F5 on the outside but the champ scrambles out of it and connects with a big roundhouse kick before grounding his opponent by sweeping his leg. Once down he locks in his YES lock but in this type of match it obviously can't end the bout but it can wear Brock down. It seems to have this effect as despite Brock forcing him to break the hold with several clubbing blows the beast is slower once its released and Bryan has a chance to not only roll back into the ring but also grab the ringbell on his way and when Brock follows him into the ring he cracks it across his head. Maybe he doesent think that alone is enough to keep Brock dwn but whatever the reason Bryan then ascende the turnbuckle and hits his Diving headbutt off the top rope.

At around 5 Brock starts to stir and he is already getting up by 7 which clearly worries Bryan, can he keep Lesnar down. He keeps striking Lesnar with shots (kicks) to his chest and goes to follow it up with another big roundhouse but Brock grabs his leg mid swing then lifts Bryan clear off the Mat as he get to his feet before running towards the ropes and literally tossing Bryan straight over them to where he lans ontop of the Spanish announce table which doesent break. Lesnat follows him to the outside and with Bryan looking like he is going to get up near seven Heyman shouts at him not to let up so Brock jumps up atop the table with him and lifts his opponent onto his shoulders, boom! F5! and the regular announce table has been decimated.

The crowd chant his name but Daniel Bryan is in trouble but somehow he gets to his feet just before the count of 9 as the commentators begin to wonder if it would be smarter for him to stay down. After making the count Bryan again drops back down to the floor and Brock tries to take advantage and pick him up but Bryan drives the monitor from the broken table into Brocks shoulder knocking him back and allowing Bryan a few moments rest, but thats all he gets as Lesnar following Heymans orders grounds Bryan once more with a Double leg takedown and then locks in his Kimura lock on the champs already injured shoulder and holds it inplace.

The commentators note that like the YES lock earlier this won't win a last man standing match but SNAP "oh my gawd he's just Broken Daniel Bryan's arm"
    index132.jpg

The commentaters were right though it doesent keep him down for the 10 count as he is almost straight back onto his feet stumbling around screaming out in pain while cradling his arm with his other arm . Brock starts stalking him as he staggers up the ramp way eventually nearly collapsing against the Casket. Brock gets up near him and after sizing him up charges at him with a spear like shoulder tackle but somehow Bryan has the where with all to roll out of the way at the last second wincing in pain as he does. As a result Lesnar goes head first right into the casket which falls off the stage and onto a slightly lower level of stagin below.

Brock looks like he may be concussed as both Brie and his Bella Bangin Budyy John Cena (who still looks banged up from his match earlier come out to help him Bryan who is clearly in pain. Lesnar though shakes it off and now spotting her (but not yet Cena) goes after Brie. Cena intervenes though and hits him with a big AA on the steel. As medical personal try to see to Bryan the ref counts but Lesnar begins to get up after meerly a 6 count to the crowds amazement. Perhaps even more shocking though is that at this point Bryan pushes away the medical Staff and instead chatges the rising Beast and connexts with his running knee. As he does he lets out a huge cry from the pain he is in himself but he is not done and instead he, Cena and Brie all together roll Lesnar off the edge of the ramp to where he drops inside the Casket, they close the top of it and that fastly secure the big strong latch on the outside of it locking Brock inside as the referee once again begins the count.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 The entire arena is now on it's feet watching the locked casket. 7, 8, 9 is Bryan really going to do it...10! YES YES YES, the crowd start chanting.

moments later though they are silenced due to complete shock as the beast Brock Lesnar bursts straight through the roof of the casket and climbs right out of it.

Moments earlier Bryan had collapsed exhated and in pain so Cena tries to save him by blocking Brocks path but BOOM! F5 on the ramp, the suddenly security and personel from the back stream out and try to hold the enraged beast back but he starts swotting them away with powerful blows and hits a number of them with F5s of their own including one to a referee, one to Fit Finlay and a 2nd to John Cena.

Eventually a literal wall of security hold him off long enough
for the injured Daniel Bryan to be placed on a stretcher and rolled out of the arena to safety. It's jard to reallysay he was the winner here tonight but Daniel Bryan survived and is still the World Champion
    RAW_1094_Photo_146.jpg

Why I booked it this way:

We usually try to stick to whats happening in reality with the BWE with regards injuries, contracts etc so in many ways we booked ourselves into a hole with Brock vs Bryan. Bryan is injured and won't wrestl till MITB at the earliest in reality while Brock won't be around that much and if we put the belt on him we would use up all his limited dates way before the Rumble / Mania season on Raws and B PPVs.

This way be it real or Kayfabe (the broken arm) we can have the champ and ultimate underdog out injured (can still appear on the show)for a month and then perhaps have to wrestle at less than 100% while Brock due to his attack on the Refs etc can be suspended or something similar to keep him away for now.

Rollins joining the shield was done in reality but with our Shield match crowning a new no.1 contender to go against the anti authorithy and injured Bryan I didn't feel a face would be the right move so a turn here was also needed (and actually planned before I watched Raw) and Rollins does benefit most from this position, it still leaves reigns vs HHH as a possibility going forward too.

Boobie Bella needed to be set right imo as otherwise it would be very hard to actually move Cena on from Wyatt but now and after his Wyatt beatdown & 2 F5s he may be out for a week or so (this is superCena he wont be out too long) so it might be easier to transition him / Wyatt to something new as a result.

The rest is pretty self exmplanitory or atleast more so than those 3 matches.

Ep2: Last week the BWA (logo and all) turned pink and black with new BWA champion / interim GM Bret Hart in the house, He heeled it up big time in the states though where he didn't get his usual great canadian welcome.

The boo's turned to cheers though when Hiroshi Tanahashi debuted interupting The Hitman and challenging him to a bout at BWA Judgement day.

Andre "The Giant" continued to physically bully team Co-Bro while the rivalry between Demolition & The Freebirds began to heat up

The mystery other person interested in running the BWA arrived on the scene in an emphatic manner, but is it Terry or Dory Funk?

A number of things were announced for this week including the debut of Mojo Rawley, The crowning of a new BWA Womens champion and the interim GMs plans for the upcoming PPV (Judgement Day).

    full show click here

    h6q5.png
    Welcome to BWA Raw
coming to you live from Toronto, Canada

We are back in Canada and Bret Hart is back to getting a rousing reception from the fans as he comes out. He obviously appreciates it and says that they (the crowd in attendance) will get all the big announcements the American crowd last week didn't deserve, they are already on his side at this point but are even more so after his quip about the United States "America has a saying love it, or leave it, well I loved it when I left it." but before he makes all those big announcements he says that something else irked him last week and now it's gotten worse and he points to the titantron and introduces the Hiroshi Tanahashi Press conference from earlier today.
    mqdefault.jpg

The actual press conference was much longer and Tanahashi responded to the questions in his native Japanese but the clip Bret shows includes an English Translation and follows on from the question, Why did you choose the BWA?
"Where else should I have chosen? The once great MNG promotions who put a world title on Hulk Hogan on his first night on the show, the only thing faster than that is the speed of the Hulksters Receding hairline. (reporters laugh) Then there is the WECWF who had to shut down it's operations due to "talent" celebrating victories with 8balls of Crack (loud tutting can be heard from the Japanese press in attendance) or how about MEWA who in 2014 have put Vince Russo in charge, Vince Freaking Russo! in 2014! ( amix of tutting and laughing this time is the reaction) and thats before I even start looking at the Indie feds like NWO Anarchy, not that I had even heard of their champion before (Cliff Compton). Nope it simply had to be the BWA - In Japan it's the most respected promotion based out of the US but more importantly - Bret "Hitman" Hart is there!

The man who calls himself The best there Is, best there was and best there ever will be, and while I can agree he was the best, that time has passed, long passed and my time is now and im here to prove it. You see This year alone The wrestling observer awards named me as the Lou Thesz / Ric Flair award winner for wrestler of the year, gave me the most outstanding wrestler award, The most charismatic wrestler award and had me as 1 half of the feud and match of the year. Me, not Hulk Hogan, Not Stone Cold Steve Austin, Not CM Punk or Daniel Bryan and Not Bret Hart. Thats why last Monday night I came to BWA Raw and laid out a challenge for Bret Hart and why I will be there tonight to hear his response, and If he accepts. Then at Judgement day I will prove what the Japanese fans already know and what those who report on the business know, Bret may have been the best there was but I am the best there Is
    vlcsnap4033357.png

"cocky lil bollix isn't he" says Bret, but he also says that he had a point (The Canadian crowd seem surprised to hear this admission and are really curious as to what he means) you see "I've forgotten more about wrestling, than Flair has ever known" Hulk Hogan well "his matches were nothing special" but I havent wrestled properly in Japan since the 80s and it's possible that the Japanese fans believe that this young kid is one of the best, and if he is whats popular with the dirtsheets these days, then perhaps I will consider letting him step in the ring with the excellence of execution but before I let that Japanese Punk put me in a bad mood, I have some other big announcements for you my great Canadian fans.

He also announces that at Judgement day we will have the first defense of the BWA Womens title by the new BWA womens champion... Mickie James! the crowd seem stunned, it would seem the vast majority expected him to announce Natayla as the new champ but before they can show any disapproval (if they even would) he gets them back onside by announcing a blockbuster tag team titles match for the PPV in which the BWA Tag team Champions Demolition will defend their titles at Judgement day against The Fabulous Freebirds

The crowd are loving all this big news to begin the show but Bret says there has been enough talk for now but that there will be more later tonight, first however it's time for some wrestling! and with that he introduces a local wrestler who he is sure the crowd will get behind (then Bret heads to the back)

    *commercial break*

    Bruiser Brody vs Jobber McGoo

that local wrestler lapped up the great reaction he got from the crowd during the break but his smile disappeared as we returned adn his opponent was announced as Bruiser Brody who once again was like a wild man in the ring. A big piledriver quickly ended the match as a contest but he didn't go for a pin then instead he started pummeling his opponent with big strikes until eventually (with his hands covered in blood) he was dragged away from him when it was clear to seemingly everyone but Brody that Mr McGoo had been knocked out.

    Winner: Bruiser Brody via KO
    26.jpg

After the match the announcers wonder has Brody gone too far and whether perhaps the BWA officials will consider trading him back to fusion pro wrestling where such disregard for an opponents health is considered the norm.

*backstage segment in the GMs office Bret & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart*

As The Anvil enters Bret is seemingly ready for what he is going to say and tells him not to worry Nattie will get a chance to earn the womans title at Judgement day. Neidhart still wants to know why Mickie James got the belt to which Bret responds " I gave her a title and she gave me a title...uncle Bret" a confused Anvil doesent really understand and says "that's what Nattie calls you" but as Bret explains Nattie could never say it in the same way. The Anvil doesent quite know how to continue that line of questioning and after a quick shudder he instead pulls out the belt we saw him with last week. He wants Bret to allow him to have it as his own, but Bret recognizes the belt and worries if they have a legal right to use the belt so The Anvil summarizes for Bret the history of the WECWF title which the fans see as a flashback
    Flashback almost 12months
long time BWA wrestler Kenta Kobashi left WECWF chairman Waltersobchek in tears at ringside as he defeated his champ and retired the WECWF title, he is shown later that night dropping the title in the trash backstage, apparently the backstage crew have deemed it too valuable to throw out and have transported it along with all the other backstage equipment from arena to arena this past year

Bret is now convinced that it came into BWA possession through legal means but says if The Anvil wants it he has to do two things, firstly re-name it the New BWA Hardcore title and secondly make up for his poor showing last week against Tanahashi and actually fight like a champion this week, both of which are immediately agreed with.

Elsewhere there is a confrontation between Natalya Neidhart and newly crowned BWA Womens champion Mickie James. When questioned about why she deserved to get the gold Mickie had the following to say "Don't take it personal Nattie, you can't help that uncle Bret loves himself a bit of Hardcore country" - At which point Natalya immediately attacks her and the two brawl until Natties dad comes over and has to physically drag his daughter away. Meanwhile the commentators inform us that Mickie will actually be in action next!

    Mickie James vs Susie Somebody

This is essentially a squash match with new womens champ acting extra cocky throughout and eventually looking like she is going to win after she hits a standing Standing tornado DDT to her opponent. It is only a win via disqualification for James though as Natalya comes charging down the ramp and continues the assault on Mickie she started backstage.

Winner via DQ: BWA womens champion Mickie James

Eventually Natalya is forcfully taken away form her Judgement day opponent by her father who came out to ringside and as he takes her back up the ramp James taunts her with her newly acquired BWA womens title.
    wwe-divas-december-4-2009-smackdown-report-maria-returns-mickie-vs-natalya-vs-beth-phoenix.jpg

Backstage Zack Ryder asks Santino if he is ready to watch his match from ringside but instead Santino draws his attension to a news story he just read online and tells him that "apparently CM Punk has taken his balls and gone home", when Ryder questions what exactly he is talking about Santino says that "I too would have to protect the marella family Jewels if my ex, the glamizon Beth Phoeinix, turned up in my fed while I was with how do you put it Zack...another hoeski!" Ryder laughs at him and clearly thinks he has mis-read the story and just tells him he will see him out there while we hear Santino talking to himself "Maybe I should be called CM Marella, cos I too am a Chick Magnet right?" only then does he realize Zack is gone and he quickly readies himself to head to the ring.

    ----

*Elsewhere Sean Mooney tries to interview Demolition about The Fabulous Freebirds and how Bret Hart revealed tonight that they will face off for the gold at Judgement day but instead he is caught in the middle of a massive confrontation between all 6 men in the backstage area when The Freebirds who are just then coming down the corridor overhear Demolition bad mouthing them, they are eventually separated by security*
Santino Marella joins us on commentary
    xoe1Q.gif

Internet title match: Zack Ryder vs TWF (Toronto Wrestling Federation) champion Francois LeNaison

Despite Zack impressing somewhat in the ring this match is all about the extra bodies on commentary. Bodies plural because moments into the match Mojo Rawley's music hits and he comes out interupting the match as its about to begin and also joins commentary. For the whole match then he is running down Ryder, arguing with Santino and tweeting about how much of a joke Ryders challenger for the Internet championship and the TWF in gerneral is.

despite Santino defending him, Mojo rams home the point that he was nothing but an Internet fad, he quotes the steady decline in number of views his youtube channel gets and how nobody posts in his thread on boards.ie PW anymore. He also cites blog articles calling him the next Rock/Stone Cold and how he was named as one of the Wrestling observer's rookies of the year this year.

It was around this time that Ryder actually picked up the win in ring with his Broski boot but also when Mojo declared himself the real Internet champion and grabbed Ryders title from ringside.

    Winner: Zack Ryder
    d9ZAF.gif

Santino tried to stop Rawley but got nothing but a belt shot to the head in return and by the time Ryder had stopped celebrating his victory and realised what had happened (and went to see if Santino was ok) Mojo was gone as was The Internet title.

The commentators then divert our attension away from the ring and to a second big press conference that was held earlier today which went out live all around the world, this time that of Shinsuke Nakamura who at this time depite his appearance with his friend Hiroshi Tanahashi last week is still a free agent (the hottest free agent in all of sports entertainment).
He speaks in Japanese but there is an interpreter there who translates that just like how his friend Tanahashi came to America to prove that he is not only the best in Japanese wrestling but in the whole world he too wanted to make a name for himself globally. He talked about how he is known as the King of Hard Style in Japan but that he wants to prove that he is the King of Hard Style period. He looked all over the America for the best of the American hard style wrestlers, in MNG, WECWF, ICW, CWA and on but just like with the Ace of the Universe (Tanahashi) he realised the only real challenge to him lay in the BWA, so he has an offer for the BWA interim GM Bret Hart and the BWA Board grant him this match and he will sign a BWA contract with them, a contract that will come into effect the moment the bell rings for this match at Judgement day. and The Match he wants, the match he says will crown a King of hard style throughout all if professional wrestling.... him vs Terry Funk vs Bruiser Brody in a triple threat no disqualification match!
    news_9487.jpg

The commentaters wonder if he is nuts actually asking for Bruiser Brody and Terry Funk in a no DQ environment but before they can delve too much into that question, speak of the devil, it's Terry Funk with his brother Dory making their way out to the ring.

Terry Funk w/Dory Funk vs Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart

In the early goings her The Anvil does quite well using his strength to stand up to Funk and is every bit his equal, which leads the announcers to suggest he could well deserve being named BWA hardcore champion but it isn't long before the wiley Funkster wears down his opponent and begins to get on top thanks to a sleeper hold and then what looks like a stunner. He then further wears him down with a Spinning toe hold before finnishing him off with a Piledriver.

    Winner: Terry Funk
    NWA_Champ_Terry_Funk.jpg

The celebrations are cut short though as Ted Dibiase and Andre The Giant storm the ring and the four men start going at it hell for leather until eventually BWA security who have been very busy tonight separate them and then under orders from Bret Hart who has come out to ringside take them to the back one team at a time
    thefunks_main1_bio.pngdibiase-ted-and-virgil-and-andre01.jpg

Now in the ring and after viewing what just went down Bret decides it's time to inform those four men and everyone in the BWA universe of the boards decision with regards who should run the BWA going forward. He says that they considered both Dory Funk Jr and Ted Dibiase for the position and both clearly have their own positives. Obviously The Million Dollar man could help bankroll the promotion and help in this regard with bringing in the best talent looking forward but Dory has the experience of running a promotion in his favour so this one he said was a tough decision, so tough in fact that the board decided to decide through the tried and tested way of in ring combat! thats right he says at Judgement day it will be The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase vs The Long Tall Texan Dory Funk and ownership of the BWA will be on the line!

whats that he says, what about former chairman Bounty Hunter, well the board found another role for him, but ill let him tell you about that himself BH get out here...
    Ljpsnre.jpg

Bounty Hunter Emerges wearing a BWA polo shirt and looking just as dejected as when we saw him last. Bret tells him to inform the public of his new job and he tells them all he is now just a backstage interviewer. He says that he had a choice, he could either leave the promotion he loved or accepted this lower role as... Bret cuts him off and says that they don't need his life story, thats not why he called him out here. He then asks that if he recalls correctly BH lived in Taiwan and asks him if he speaks Japanese. the former chairman informs him that they speak Chinese in Taiwan but Bret disregards this saying "Japanese, Chinese whatever, you speak asian, good" now tanahashi I have an answer ofr you so get your ass out here!

His music hits and "Ace of the Universe" Hiroshi Tanahashi makes his way out, he gets right up in Brets face and despite being in Canada he actually gets a great response from the crowd who have been slowly but surely moving away from supporting Hart the more he has opened his mouth tonight. Bret just smiles looks at BH and orders him to translate as he says that he has never seen such a cheeky little bastard in all his life, who does he think he is to challenge him. To dare suggest his time is past and that he is no longer the best around. He says he doesent care what some geeks online or in Japan say he knows that he is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be and that at Judgement day he will prove that to him and to the world. In other words he says challenge accepted.

Bret seems frustrated though as Bounty Hunter clearly can't translate into Japanese and starts pacing back and forth and mockingly tells Tanahashi that if he understands that he has just been given the opportunity of a lifetime and the chance to go 1 on 1 with the excellence of excecution then he should do something, maybe one of those flippy flappy moves they loves so much in Asia, when Booom! seemingly out of nowhere Tnahashi hit Bret with his Shining Wizard knee strike where he stepped off Bret's chest before delivering a knee smash to his face. he then grabs the Mic of Bounty Hunter who is standing stunned next to them and say's "I Speak English Bitch!" before jumping onto the nearest turnbuckle and hitting his High Fly Flow Frog Splash on Hart.
    1h5fiBk.png

The show goes off the air with a canadian audience weirdly chanting the name of Bret Harts opponent as Tanahashi continues to impress.

I quite like all Connacht counties really except Roscommon. Thats a bit dull. Galway is superb and Mayo and Leitrim all have things going for them.

Still though Leinster is flawless. :)

Oh and Vicky looks sexy these days..;)

When you actually listen to him Jerry Lawler is a bit poor. He only has 20 phrases which he repeats on every show.

Back in 2008 the BWA opened it's doors and only a few short weeks later held it's first ever PPV which was Headlined by John Cena & Hulk Hogan, This PPV was called Judgement day! Since then there have been many highs and lows the promotion has had to deal with which is par for the course with over 100 different roster members having wrestled for the promotion throughout the years. This year however not one of those men were invited back, a brand new roster was assembled from Wrestlers who have never before competed in the worlds premiere promotion. Which is this sunday why for the second time in the promotions great history the whole world (The Fans, The Board, The Roster themselves) will pass judgement over everything BWA, who deserves to lead this brand forward, who deserves to be champions and who is the best in the world of professional wrestling!

    WECWF BWA Hardcore title defense
Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart Defends the title under 24/7 hardcore rules

1 year ago at BWA Wrestlemania 5, multiple year BWA competitor Kenta Kobashi defeated then WECWF champion Jake the snake roberts and retired the WECWFs heavyweight title leaving Waltersobchek, who payed for a front row seat, in tears. Recently that title has resurfaced, as new BWA star Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart found it in a trash container backstage all smashed up. In it's condition it reminded the Anvil of the old WWE Hardcore title and with his brother in law in temporary charge as the interim GM he decided to go to him and see could he get the title re-instated as the new BWA Hardcore title. Bret told him that if he could perform like a champion he could keep the belt and then after he got his ass kicked by Terry Funk perhaps to appease the fans who seemed eager for a return of some hardcore wrestling or perhaps to have please the BWA board who always enjoyed a pop at their monday night war rivals Bret re-instated the belt saying Neidhart looked like a true WECWF champion out there.

Bret did have second thoughts though, he considered himself a family man, an advocate of PG television and wrestling and he wasn't sure if a new Hardcore title would suit his vision for the BWA so he decided that this belt could only be defended on PPV and (knowing that might not be a popular decision he quickly followed it up with) that on each and every BWA PPV it would be defended under the 24/7 rule that brought it such popularity in the attitude era, thus this Sunday Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart will have to be ready for anything at anytime as he makes his first official defense of the BWA Hardcore title.

    BWA Womens title match
    Natayla Neidhart vs Mickie James

Natalya thought she had everything. Her father by her side and her uncle as the interim general manager she was the queesn of the new BWA womens division especially when you consider that the rest of the division was made up of no name jobbers or so she thought. She was unaware thsat there was another high profile Diva who had been brought into the BWA this year and someone who also seemed very friendly with uncle Bret. That someone was Mickie James and when she instead of Natalya was announced as the new BWA womens champion suffice to say Nattie took it personally. She confronted James, attacked her and demanded answers for why Mickie and not she had the title around her waist. She didn't like the answers she got though, whether it was Bret saying she would get a shot at the gold at Judgement day anyway and that this way she would get to earn the belt she desired or James who stated that she was champ because "Uncle Bret knows what 'Hardcore Country' is all about". Natalya has snapped she has become obsessed with winning the title this Sunday and having made her own judgement and labelled Mickie James a "hoare" I wouldn't expect these girls to be playing nice at the PPV either.
Mickie James is the champ going into this, the below is what Nattie believes we should be seeing

    Zack Ryder vs Mojo Rawley

Despite occasionally tagging together Team Co-Bro is now just an occasional thing as both Santino & Zack Ryder have begun their quests for singles success. Ryder in particular has recieved acclaim for defending his Internet championship against all (online challengers) as he has begun having official title matches for the belt every 2nd week on BWA Raw against champions from indie feds who have challenged him over social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter or the BWA ap. That is to say he has received acclaim from most quarters but not all as one man in particular has ben very critical of long island iced Z both online and on BWA Raw. That man is Mojo Rawley or as he calls himself the real Internet champion.

Mojo, who wants people to not just get hyped but stay hyped has truely been the talk of the online community recently drawing comparisons to the Rock and John Cena and being labelled as the next generations Icon. Nobody has risen through the ranks of the BWA developmental system faster than Rawley and be it the wrestling observer who named him as one of their rookies of the year or the fan boys at sites like boards.ie/PW it seems the Internet literally will not shut up about the guy. They have that in common with Mojo himself though as the man is a shameless self promoter and if you weren't a member of the IWC (Internet wrestling community) he made sure upon his arrival in the BWA to let you know what they had to say. That included letting Ryder know too. He ripped into the Internet champion saying that his challengers so far had been a joke and that he himself had been nothing more than a fad and that it was time that he let a real hero to the online fans give some proper prestige to the Internet championship. He also kept those online talking about him by taking that title as his own although he is yet to face Ryder for the belt. The challenge is now set however, this Sunday on the BWA.com/Youtube pre-show it will be time to put up or shut up, will it be Woo Woo Woo or will the crowd be getting hyped at Judgement day?
    x3vt.png

Andre The Giant vs Santino Marella

Santino has had no luck recently in the BWA and the vast majority of his bad luck has revolved around Andre the Giant who has been throwing his rather considerable weight around. Usually such a happy go lucky chap it seems Andre along with The Million Dollar man pushed him too far and the Milan Marvel snapped but has he now bitten off more than he can chew or is he truly as he has taken to calling himself Santino Marella "Giant Killer". No doubt he will have to be at the top of his game to stand a chance of even surviving against the former world champion giant that is Andre. Perhaps there has never been more of a David vs Goliath story in pro-wrestling but as Santino showed as he defeated Bruiser Brody on Raw, anything is possible in the BWA.

    BWA Tag Team Title Match
    The Fabulous Freebirds vs Demolition

What can we say about this one, that isn't self explanatory. From the moment the Freebirds arrived in the BWA they had their sights set on the Tag team gold and Demolition while the fans were simply salivating over the dream clash that could be. Not long after they made their intentions known and ever since when they have either been one upping each other in how severely they can beat down on jobber tag teams as they warm up for each other or literally tearing lumps out of each other in non sanctioned situations. No more warm ups and no more backstage battles though as This Sunday we will get the dream match that all us BWA fans have been waiting for as the two teams most well known for their use of the Freebird rule including of course the team that the rule is named after and the team who held WWF tag team gold longer than any other tag team finally go head to head in a battle for the ages!
    demolition-freebirds.jpg
We take a slight break from the preview of Judgement Day 2014 here on BWA Heat to focus on the newest BWA superstar Marty Jannety who says he is planning to challenge for the BWA Hardcore title and therefore we are now treated to a hardcore match he plans to use as preperation for that challenge.

    Marty Jannety vs Hardcore Harry

Marty in classic attitude era hardcore style comes to the ring with a trash can full of weapons and one by one uses them on his opponent who really isn't much competition for Jannetty who seems to earn back some of the respect he may have lost with his debut on BWA Raw last week. He eventually gets the 3 count pinfall by rolling his opponent up after hitting him with three quick shots of a stop sign.

    Winner: Marty Jannetty

After the match and before we return to our PPV preview we see new BWA backstage reporter Bounty Hunter Interviewing Ted "The Million Dollar Man" Dibiase. Ted talks about how he will be the new man in charge after he defeats Dory Funk Jr at Judgement day, the most interest thing he says however is in relation to his confidant Andre The Giant and his match at the PPV vs Santino Marella.

Ted: "Considering how much I have and how he's the 8th wonder of the world and yet doesn't really ask for too much in return for his services I feel I owe it to him so I help him out when I can and considering that Santino Marella not only embarassed the big man but crossed me too yeah sure I used my influence to add a stipulation to their match at Judgement day...That match is now a Last Man Standing Match!"

BH: "how did you get the current GM to agree to that?"

Ted: "c'mon you know the answer to that... are you really going to make me say it? (BH shrugs his shoulders) Everybody's got a price for the Million Dollar Man."

he then lets out one of his trademark laughs before we return to our PPV review
    tumblr_mzezkjooqg1qhjbxeo1_500.gif

First lets talk about Strong Style. It is the most common word used to describe the type of hard hitting wrestling performed in New Japan, which is the largest federation in the country and second largest in the world after the BWA. Something seems to have gotten translated however when Shinsuke Nakamura otherwise known as the "King of Strong Style" in NJPW decided to jump ship and join the BWA, as Nakamura who wanted to prove himself to be the "King of Strong Style" not just in Japan but all of professional wrestling layed down a challenge for 2 western wrestlers who employed a very different 'Strong Style'. Those men were none other than the Wild-man Bruiser Brody who since he left Fusion Pro Wrestling has shown such little concern for his opponents health in the ring that BWA officials actually considered trading him back. Strong style wouldn't even nearly cover what the man voted Best Brawler by the Wrestling Observer on 8 separate occasions has been up to. The other man Nakamura challenged was none other than Terry Funk who apart from being a multiple time world champion is known worldwide as a Hardcore legend, the man Mick Foley wishes he could be and even in Nakamura's native Japan was known for his Extreme ways having competed in matches such as the infamous King of the Death Match tournament which included an exploding ring, C4 explosive, barbed wire match.

The challenge Nakamura had for these men was a simple one (to define at least), a triple threat no DQ match which would crown a worldwide King of Strong Style! has the Japanese superstar bitten of more than he can chew? the BWA fans don't care to be perfectly honest, because either way they are guaranteed one hell of a hard hitting classic match this sunday which you would be a fool to miss.

    mr7w.png
Battle for control of the BWA
Ted Dibiase Vs Dory Funk Jr

Bret "Hitman" Hart's reign as interim GM is over come Judgement day, the previous chairman left the BWA in less than acrimonious circumstances (although they did have a part to play in seing him drafted to CWA) and once the board via the interim GM informed former Chairman Bounty Hunter that he would not be considered for the position again suddenly there were only two men left in contention. The man for whom Everybody has a price "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase who seemingly thought his vast wealth, and with it the ability to finance big name acquisitions for the promotion had him as the only possible choice but the shock arrival of the brothers Funk meant there was indeed a second option as Dory Funk Jr threw he big texas stetson into the ring. Not only was Funk argueably a more likeable character but he also unlike Dibiase has experience running a promotion and recent too as until recently he was working for All Japan Pro Wrestling as the Pacific Wrestling Federation (PWF) chairman.

Perhaps the BWA board couldn't decide between experience and the lure of Dibiase's finances however as both men were informed they would have the chance to earn the position... In the ring! A match was booked for Judgement day Ted Dibiase vs Dory Funk Jr with the control of the company on the line in a real winner takes all match like never before. The stakes couldn't be higher and yet despite Dibiase having the backup of the likes of the 8th wonder of the world Andre The Giant in his corner, Dory is showing no fear and the former NWA world champion is in fact goading his opponent wit that fact that unlike him Ted has never won the big one. Will that streak continue or will we see the birth of The Million Dollar Chairman, all will be decided this sunday at BWA Judgement Day!

    mqdefault.jpg
    Bret Hart Vs Hiroshi Tanahashi

This feud could be summed up with one question, but this question isn't the simplest to answer....Who is the best in the world?

After dominating NJPW for years Hiroshi Tanahashi decided to leave Japanese shores in search of a new challenge and to prove that he was not only the best wrestler in Japan but simply the Best in the World. He was the hottest free agent in the world when he traveled to the US but there was only one promotion he wanted to join in order to prove himself, the BWA, and why? because of the existance of one man, with one very significant moniker on their roster. That man was Bret Hart and he was known as The Best there is, The Best there was and The Best there ever would be. Beating such an athlete, a man who is worshiped in his homeland of Canada would no doubt seal his claim to being simply The Best.

Bret meanwhile has really been a different character of late since he shocked the world when he was announced as the Interim BWA general manager and appointed himself as the new World Heavyweight Champion. At the time there were few objections in fact his arrival was met but a great reaction from the BWA universe whom mostly agreed he was the best wrestler in the company, but the following week when he addressed the BWA's American fan's with utter disdain and contempt it was clear to see this wasn't the same fan friendly role model that many associated with the excellence of execution. The Hitman's ego which had always been rather large had begun to run wild and it would seem he became an arrogant self centered GM, champion, uncle and in general man.

Not only did Bret show the fans a complete lack of respect but Tanahashi who impressed his western audience more and more as the weeks went by was subjected to racial slurs and belittling from The Hitman a man he had respected so much so that he chose the BWA over all others because he thought Bret the ultimate competition. Bret calls himself the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be but considering Tanahashi has been voted the the wrestler of the year the past 3 years running as well as Most Outstanding Wrestler, being involved in the feuds and matches of the year the past two it is kinda understandable if the Japanese superstar questions this claim. Crossing the pacific and going face to face with Bret to make the claim that he is no longer the best there is took balls though and this gained him a lot of respect and fans.

Bret though couldn't give a damn what any online smarks say he is the BWA champ, he is the excellence of execution and wether the fans are behind him or against him he plans to prove he is still the best in the world this sunday at Judgement Day. Don't miss this one!

Ep3: Last week on BWA Mojo Rawley got the Internet Wrestling Community talking when he arrived in the BWA in the middle of an Internet title defense and left with the belt

Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart got Bret to allow him to hang on to the newly renamed BWA Hardcore title (WECWF championship) assuming he could preform like a champion.

A new BWA Womens champ was crowned and due to Bret's affinity for 'Hardcore Country' it wasn't Natalya much to her annoyance and the crowds surprise.

Many more huge matches were announced for the upcoming PPV including Ted Dibiase vs Dory Funk Jr, Demolition vs The Fabulous Freebirds and biggest of all Bret Hart accepted the challenge of the "Ace of the Universe" Hiroshi Tanahashi before getting hit with his patented 'High fly flow' Frog Splash!

    Welcome to BWA Raw!
    live from Columbus, Georgia
The Pyros go off, The Crowd goes wild and the announcers begin hyping what will be a massive night ahead. An especially big evening when you consider that only 6 days later is BWA Judgement Day. They also remind everyone of the news that broke on BWA.com last week right as we went off air on Raw. The match that Shinsuke Nakamura wanted, the match he said would crown a worldwide King of Hard Style with him facing both Bruiser Brody & Terry Funk in a no disqualification triple threat has been approved by the board and Nakamura's name has now been officially added to the BWA.com roster listing. As they did last week when he asked for the match the announcer call him a mad man for wanting it before they are interrupted by the music and arrival of Bret "Hitman" Hart on his last night as interim BWA Raw GM, but a night he vows wont be his last as champ.

Bret is already getting some minor boos as he begins to talk and he immediately reacts to them saying he can't believe how quickly fans have turned their backs on him (it seems Bret is oblivious to how he has been running down America the past few weeks) especially to get behind a wrestler from Japan. This confuses the crowd a little but it isn't long before Hart explains

He says that there is a term in the wrestling vernacular called to Pearl Harbor someone (Gorilla Monsoon made it famous), it means a sneak attack, a cowardly action, an action that lacks any sort of honour at all and that if Tanahashi hadn't Pearl Harbored him last week no way would he have bested him.
    bret_apr99_hitmen.jpg

*A small Tan-a-hashi chant breaks out*

And yet you continue to cheer for this coward [shakes his head in disdain] so I guess im going to have to show you what will happen to this new hero of yours when he has to go face to face with an expectant me this Sunday at BWA Judgement day and ill do that with the help of an old hero of yours... get out here Jannetty!

and with that out comes Columbus Georgia's own Marty Jannetty to a decent pop from the crowd. Unfortunately this is 2014 Jannetty and not the Rocker they all remember and love, and he looks in bad shape and is almost out of breath by the time he makes it down to the ring.

    Bret Hart vs Marty Jannetty

Bret places his Mic on the top turnbuckle as this begins and encourages Jannety to come at him and when Marty misses with a clothesline Bret kicks him to the gut and snap he hits a quick DDT. He then picks back up the Mic and continues his promo

"You see Mr Hiroshi, I will always be 2 steps ahead of you in this ring, I will be ready for whatever you throw at me and will execute my moves with lightning fast precision"

Jannetty goes to get up but Bret is waiting for him and performs multiple different suplexes to the hometown boy including a vertical, Belly to Back and German suplex.

"I'm not saying this cos I'm arrogant, I am just trying to warn you Tanahashi, step in the ring with me, a walking, talking wrestling encyclopedia and you should expect to be hurt"

He then lifts Jannetty up to his feet before delivering a viscious looking Spike piledriver which the announcers suggest could break a mans neck. Bret then locks in a figure four leg lock but Marty looks like he is unconcious. Just as he seems to be coming back round and no doubt about to tap, Bret releases the hold.

"There is a reason people call me The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be or The Excellence of Execution, b'cos I am just that good and I can beat anyone when I want to."

He then locks in his Sharpshooter finisher to which Jannetty immediately taps out and several seconds later amidst a torrent of boos (which this time he seems to be loving) Bret finally releases the hold.

    Winner via submission: Bret Hart

Santino Marella is seen backstage walking up to Ted Dibiase & Andre 'The Giant' who are as usually laughing maniacally but this time at something they are watching on a monitor. When Santino inquires what it is that's so funny only Andre bothers to respond, turning around standing up and when towering over him tells Santino that it was him they were laughing at (you see clips of the monitor they were looking at which shows clips from recent shows where Andre and Dibiase had been pushing Santino and Ryder around including when Andre stuffed the cobra into Santino's mouth 2 weeks ago on Raw), he then starts poking Santino in the chest repeatedly asking him, what is he going to do about it when Santino suddenly snapped dropped to his knees letting out a big war cry and with a big right handed strike hit the big man right in the balls!

Santino quickly scarpers as Dibiase realizes what has happened and turns around to see his gaint hunched over in pain

We head back to the ring where we have Dory Funk Jr who cuts a promo on the man we have just seen backstage Ted "The Million Dollar Man" Dibiase
Dory calls Ted Dibiase a slick city money man who doesn't really know how to run a company who will in fact run The BWA into the ground if given the chance. He refers to himself as a country boy made good and the The Long Tall Texan states that unlike his opponent who needs a giant (Andre) to do his dirty work for him he has won a world title, in fact he held the no.1 title in the world for over 4 years but that "Teddy boy" has never won the big one and that he won't this Sunday either!

The Funkin Freebirds vs The Million Dollar Demolition
Dory, Terry Funk & The Fabulous Freebirds vs Ted Dibiase, Andre The Giant & Demolition

This was a hectic fast paced match where the action didn't stay confined to the ring nor end with the bell but the match culminated after Andre (who it should be noted did not want to start the match as he was still selling the effects of the low blow by Santino) got the hot tag and with a big double clothesline knocked both Funks to the outside. Then while his partners were fighting on the outside (next to where the Funks landed) with Hayes & Gordy he made Buddy Roberts tap out with a big bearhug in what was a pretty impressive performance by the 8th wonder of the world here tonight.

Winners: Ted Dibiase, Andre & Demolition

For the second week in a row BWA security had to eventually separate the Freebirds and Demolition who continue to brawl after the finish. While Andre and Dibiase once again laugh at how things have gone there way. One announcer worries about what things will be like if this happens again at Judgement day but the other is more hopeful suggesting maybe Ted would give them a raise, afterall 'everyone's got a price'.

New BWA backstage interviewer Bounty hunter is interviewing recently debuted Mojo Rawley who is wearing Zack Ryders Internet championship over his shoulder. BH informs him that it's now official that the match for that title which has been speculated about throughout the week between himself and Zack Ryder will take place on the Judgement day pre-show live on BWA.com. Mojo says he shouldn't have to face Ryder, re-iterating that Ryder is a joke and that the Internet fans know quality when they see it. However contradictory to that BH shows him a poll currently up on BWA.com which suggests that 77% of the audience will beat Rawley. Mojo isn't best pleased and fakes punching BH before just calling fans who use the official site as being Marks and walks off

In the GMs office we see Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart with Bret
Neidhart asks if what he just heard about the internet title is true and Bret confirms not only that but that he has also just booked another match for this Sundays PPV, which he describes as a real David vs Goliath match, as Santino Marella will go one on one with Andre the Giant! Neidhart is impressed but has one more question for Bret, he wants to know can he keep the newly renamed BWA hardcore championship (formerly the WECWF title) considering Bret had said he could if he wrestled like a champ in last weeks main event. big Jim obviously looks worried about his performance but he need not as despite Bret saying he was terrible in the ring, he also says that the same could be said for any former WECWF wrestler to hold that belt and that if he wants to be the champion of garbge hardcore wrestling he can. Bret however states that he has said BWA raw should be more kid friendly so there will be no hardcore title defenses on Raw but that (then he drops the bombshell that makes Neidhart stop smiling) it will be defended under Hardcore 24/7 rules at any and every BWA PPV from now on!

*We return to ringside as Zack Ryder & Mickie James make their entrance, Ryder grabs a Mic*
Ryder talks about how his tag partner in this intergender tag team match has not always been a good girl (crowd cheer) but that he thinks she gets a hard time from some people, he says how only tonight he was talking to BWA champion Bret Hart and he told him all sorts of nice things about her. He said she let him park his car in her garage (another big cheer from the crowd) and that she always shares her food wether its letting him taste her Taco (cheer) or tossing his salad (and again) at which point Ryder starts to get confused and while letting out a little smile says "what can I say even if you are a bad girl the BWA universe seem to love you and you're my kinda hoeski"

As he finishes up Natalya and Jim Neidhart come out with Nattie charging the ring and giving this one a quick start vs James

ZackRyder & Mickie James vs Natalie & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart

This is a pretty even competition but doesn't go too long until Mojo Rawley comes out to get a close up view of proceedings. While the Divas are facing off in ring, he says something to the Anvil and then starts removing the turnbuckle covering behind Neidhart as he tags in forcing Mickie to also tag Ryder in. Once the tags are made Neidhart immediately tries to irish whip Ryder into the now exposed turnbuckle but ryder reverses it causing his opponent to dive through the ropes and to the outside to avoid what he knew awaited him. Unfortunately for him what awated him on the outside was just as bad as he went head first into the Internet championship that Mojo Rawley was carrying.

The Ref only now noticing Rawley's appearance at ringside ordered him away from the ring while an incredibly groggy looking Neidhart got back int the ring only for Ryder to immediately catch him with the Rough Ryder leg lariat and go for a 3 count. The ref had his eyes on Nattie and warned her to stay back as he made his count but perhaps his focus should have been on the other Diva, as Mickie James put Ryders feet on the ring ropes giving him extra leverage and although the fan favourite quickly put his feet back down when he realized what she had done the damage was done and the match won and if possible Nattie was even more infuriated with James,

Santino looks a bit glum backstage as he congratulates Ryder on his win as he returns to the dressing room and Ryder gives him an impromptu pep talk which is eerily similar to something from 'Cool Runnings' as he senses he is worried about his PPV match with Andre the Giant and his match up next vs Bruiser Brody. He tells Santino to look in the mirror and tell him what he see's to which he simply replies Santino Marella before Ryder tells him what he sees. He sees Pride, he sees Power, he sees a bad as mother who ain't gonna talk no sh!t off of nobody! He then gets Santino to again tell him what he sees and Santino repeats Ryders lines many times, each time louder than before until he storms out of the lockeroom and straight off to the ring.

    Santino Marella vs Bruiser Brody

Santino is full of confidence as he awaits his opponent but that is clearly shaken when Brody acting like the wild man that he is comes into the ring ranting and raving and starts to slap his own head repeatedly. As the bell rings to signal the match officially stating Brody starts going from corner to corner and as one announcers put it "psyching himself up" by headbutting the top turnbuckle several times.

by the time Brody gets to the third corner it would seem Santino has already gone through an emotional ringer from, super psyched to intimidated to being back to his usual jovial sense as he jokes with the crowd making cuckoo cuckoo signs suggesting the man he is against is mad and then having time to take out his cobra. The fourth corner however still had it's top turnbuckle uncovered and without looking Brody continued his ritual but after 2 quick headbuts he stopped and already bloodied slowley turned and stumbled towards Santino who immediately caught him with the Cobra Strike and although that didn't take the big man off his feet he was clealy dazed and Santino let no time pass before a Santino Split-legged stunner and a quick pin for a 3 count.

    Winner via pinfall: Santino Marella
    UlIqa.gif

An unbelievable victory for Santino Marella who rolls to the outside and standing next to commentary booth can be heard Calling himself Santino Marella "Giant Killer" which prompts the announcers to ask each other could he really defeat Andre the Giant at Judgement day. Although impressed by his display tonight both doubt it. Then however they inform us it's time for a blast from the past Rocker talk show style
We are brought backstage to Marty Jannety who talks about how the place where real me can talk sh!t and even gossip has always been the Barbershop, and in Wrestling terms The Barbershop means controversial interview and the man who made them famous none other than himself so who better to bring back this iconic show and who better for his first interview than the always controversial Michael Hayes and the rest of The Freebirds.

Hayes takes exeption to his team mates being labeled as meerly the rest of and sets him straight saying they deserved the respect of a proper intro and so he gave them one before questioning how Jannetty was ever controversial. he says that they cause controversy every night and will on Sunday as they take Demolitions titles but that it was Marty's tag partner who caused controversy not him and that Jannetty would never even be famous had he not been thrown through a barbershop window.

At this point Hayes looks at Gordy and says "this guy's career looks like it needs that kinda help again" and the big man grabbed him and tossed him head first into the Barbersho window. there is a big crack but he falls on the floor in front of the clearly re-inforced window. oooh thats gotta hurt they think as they exit scene left, not a good night for Jannetty and it seems we have to wait till Judgement day to find out what the Freebirds have in store for Demolition.

We head back to ringside just in time for tonight's main event which is announced as a falls count anywhere singapore cane match

    Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Shinsuke Nakamura

The match starts with a handshake which is followed by a pure technical wrestling competition that quickly sucks the crowd in despite them staying in ring, within the rules and thus without weapons etc simply a great back and forth wrestling match where they trade moves, counters and more but this clearly isn't what Bret wanted when he booked this match.

suddenly we see Bret Hart backstage with the anvil whom he orders out to the ring, he says he's the new hardcore champ he should get out there and show them what their doing wrong.

Neidhart arrives on the scene after Nakamura had taken the advantage (which Tanahashi had mostly held throughout) with an Inverted powerslam and when he does he immediately tries to introduce weapons to the scenario taking Singapore canes from beneath the ring and giving one to first Nakamura but when he refuses it he then throws one to Tanahashi. Both men refuse to use weapons however which leads to big Jim getting involved himself and attacking the two of them with his own Cane. He misses his swing on Tanahashi though and before he can go for Nakamura with a second his opponents both have the canes he earlier tried to give them and begin to double team him.

Bret quickly emerges on the ramp with and orders the ref to end the match calling a double DQ and orders them to let Neidhart go. The two men look at each other and then making a swinging motion (like about to tie off or go to bat in baseball) before looking to the crowd who show their approval... DOUBLE CRACK! both canes smash over Neidharts head as he drops to the mat and roles to the outside.
    i7wdE6vJq5LCx.gif

Bret helps his brother in law to his feet and up the ramp way as Tanahashi beckons him back his way inviting Bret to get into the ring with him but it would seem the Hart Foundation have had enough for tonight and we will have to wait until Judgement day to see that epic 1on1 confrontation!

    Build up Show 1 - Show 2 - Show 3 - Show 4 - PPV Preview

Judgement Day PPV: Part 1 - Part 2

    BWA.com Kick-off show
After the Panel of BWA Legends have made their picks for tonight's matches Zack Ryder comes out and cuts a promo before his Internet title match.

He says that he knows what all the fans on podcasts and sites like Boards.ie PW and the like will be saying right now. That surely the BWA should push the new guy, that the management will want Mojo Rawley to be a star and that no matter what the Ryder Revolution do The Internet Sensation Long Island Iced Z won't win tonight... Ryder looks terribly sad as he stares down at the mat, but then looks up with a smirk on his face... "Are you Serious Bros" This punk disrespects The Ultimate Broski, The Woo Woo Woo Kid by stealing my Internet title and thinks he can get away with it, well he's got another thing coming, a Broski boot right to the face thats what. 'If that's what you wanna see then let me hear you now Montreal' then he leads them in a Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!

Internet championship match: Zack Ryder (c) vs Mojo Rawley[/center]

This match starts at a great pace with Rawley like a big ball of energy when he hits the ring and despite his big frame Mojo shows he can move quickly when he gets the upper hand by avoiding a Ryder Dropkick before delivering one of his 4 moves of doom on Zack as he gets back upright, a stinger splash which squashes Ryder into the turnbuckle. Ryder gets back into it though as Mojo takes too long while taunting the crowd, after that when he eventually turns around Ryder is ready with his Rough Ryder Jumping leg lariat. He doesn't even get a 2 count though when he goes for the pin as Rawley forcefully kicks out which leaves Zack in shock. it's also at this point that the commentators speculate how Rawley has got in Ryder's head and it won't be long until the match is over. One hip attack later followed by multiple shoulder blocks and Ryder is lying prone and ready for what comes next and the culmination of Rawleys 4 moves of doom his Hyper Drive Running seated senton. 1-2... no kickout!

Mojo at first looks shocked but then a steely determination comes over his face and the BWA are treated to not only Rawleys in ring BWA debut but also the debut of his 5th move of doom as he lift Ryder up and delivers a devastating running powerbomb to him before pinning him once more this time for the 3 count.

An impressive debut and we have a new Internet champion

    Winner: Mojo Rawley
    GPrujmc.jpg

Explanation:As Ryder said, put the new guy over, they can have a rematch etc but Mojo has been tipped to be big in the future so why not debut him strong and as the new internet champion (a belt he will eventually drop and move beyond) he can gain a lot of heat as well as exposure by running down the smarks and their opinions while reminding them and everyone else they should be getting hyped for him, the future of the BWA.
Backstage former chairman Bounty Hunter in his new role as the BWA roving reporter is talking to the BWA Hardcore champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, you can see Jannety's Barbershop set in the background so perhaps we will get another classic interview segment later but right now the focus is on Neidhart who says that he is sick of being laughed at, sick being considered a joke and sick of losing and that tonight if someone want's to take his title off him they better be ready for a war!

just as he says this Marty Jannety comes out of nowhere and attacks him with a superkick but big Jim is just barely fast enough to step out of the way of the blow, big Jim then headbutts the man who is obviously after the Hardcore title (being defended under 24/7 rules at the PPV tonight) and while Marty is disorientated as a result Neidhart grabs him and tosses him head first through the barbershop window (which had already been cracked and almost broken on the last edition of BWA Raw). Marty is left in a heap on the floor, glass shards sticking out of him as Neidhart walks off his championship still around his shoulder

As we return to ringside we are informed that in his last action as interim BWA General Manager Bret Hart decided that due to the fact that whichever team wins this match will be defending the tag titles under the freebird rule where by any two members of a larger team can defend the titles it would be only right if all 6 men were involved in this match and decided the fate of said titles and therefore he made this match a 6 man tag team match.
    neidhart_apr99.jpg

BWA Tag team Title match: The Fabulous Freebirds vs Demolition (c)

As is tradition The challengers are out first for this one but the Freebirds lead by Michael Hayes (mic in hand) seem to want to get something off their chests before we begin
He asks the crowd and his cohorts if they know why The Freebirds were barely featured on BWA Raw building to the PPV of all PPVs that is Judgement Day? Gordy leans in "Nope" He asks if they knew why Bret Hart and the BWA board saw fit to give a fist pumping moron (Ryder) and a man who plays with sock puppets (Santino) more air time than The Legendary Freebirds? Roberts leans in "nope" He asks if anyone on this roster or elsewhere could do what they do night in and night out to thrill and entertain the fans ...both the other tow lean in "nope" simply put we don't need to convince you of how good we are, and hell even our opponents don't need to sell themselves or our match to you? this match put asses on seats her tonight the moment it was announced and now this match is about to steal the show. "Badstreet USA" then kicked back in as they got a mix of mostly cheers but with the occasional boo from the fans of their also popular opponents in the crowd

And It isn't long before the champions music hits and Demolition, Ax, Smash & Crush all rush the ring and a big six man brawl erupts with the two teams fighting inside and outside of the ring. Eventually (after 2 or 3 minutes of brawling) the ref was able to get things under control and things officially got under way with Gordy vs Smash.

    Winners: The Freebirds
    freebirds.jpg

Explanation: It's the first official match of the non BWA.com PPV and we want to start things off with a high octane bang! so ala the shield all 2013 we begin with our 6 man tag but this time its two legendary teams going at it and really setting the tone for the night. The new arrivals to the BWA get the win and the belts but this one is long from being over as a rivalry!
Promo airs for the BWA network starting soon!
    aRBq5KH.jpg
We go backstage where Bounty Hunter is interviewing the new BWA tag team champions of the world The Freebirds who are celebrating after their championship victory and say that they will happily grant a rematch anytime but perhaps not tomorrow night on Raw as he jokes they might not be finished celebrating by then.

Buddy "Jack" Roberts notes how there are 3 of them and they only have 2 titles though before telling BH and his cameras to follow him while the Hayes & Gordy continue drinking to celebrate their victory. Eventually Roberts leads the cameras to the location of BWA Hardcore Champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. However for the second time already tonight Neidhart is able to dodge a sneak attack as the already inebriated Rogers isn't too light footed as he wildly swings the bottle of Jack Daniels he had just been swinging from at The Anvil's head. Neidhart then drives Roberts into the corridor wall before grabbing the bottle of booze and after himself necking some smashes it across the back of Roberts skull before pushing open the lockeroom door beside him and tossing his second failed hardcore title challenger inside the room and walking off. Just before we return to ringside we see the door close and the note the word "Demolition" emblazoned on it, im sure they will enjoy the present and the opportunity for some retribution after their tag team match with the Freebirds earlier!

Before this next match begins Santino Marella cuts a promo about how everyone sees him as a loveable goof but not after tonight, after tonight he says he will be known as Santino Marella Giant Killer!
    8RpCZYD.jpg

Last Man Standing match: Santino Marella vs Andre The Giant

Santino is obviously really up for this one as one could tell from his Giant Killer comment and he starts fast and strong with some big chops, after 3 or 4 though he stops as he realizes he really having much of an impact on the Giant who is actually laughing at him. The laughter stops now though as Andre delivers a number of chops of his own each one of which sends santino stumbling backwards and after 3 he then delivers an Open-handed chop and Marella is knocked to the Mat.

He gets up quick though much to Andre's surprise and annoyance causing him to as the announcers put it, 'continue to punish the little man for every time he refuses to stay down'. He hits a big boot on him, an Elbow drop but again Santino just keeps getting back up.

Zack Ryder comes out trying to re-deem himself after his defeat earlier tonight and get his own back on Andre as he too was subjected to abuse at the hands of The Giant and of course to help out his Team Co-bro brother and the two beat away at Andre but Santino who is a bit more wore down is tossed to the outside where he seemingly cracks his head off the mat and he is down and out for a few minutes while Ryder takes the brunt of the Giants abuse. Andre leaves Ryder downed in the ring though and heads to the outside after his official opponent who once again has surprised the announcers by getting up after the head first dive from the ring he had just taken. He hits multiple kicks kicks to Andre and looks to be getting back into it but then a big headbutt takes the momentum back again for the big man who leads Santino up the ramp towards the titantron.

Then when next to the titantron Andre hits a Double underhook suplex and the ref starts counting... he gets to 7, almost 8 when Santino gets back to his feet and Andre again is clearly shocked but also angered and grabs him in a huge Bearhug. After that he drops a near lifeless Santino to the floor and the ref begins to count again an perhaps this would have been the ten count but Ryder is back involved and rushes up to Santino and helps him to his feet at 8. For his trouble Andre grabs Ryder around his throat and gives him what is essentially a chokeslam off the ramp.

Another big open handed chop to Santino follows and the man is down for another 7 and when he get back up he is immediately hit with another one but this time the big man who is clealy tiring just from all his offense delivers his Sitdown splash to the fallen Milan Miracle but once more Santino just wont stay down and again shocks everyone getting up this time at 9 just before he is eliminated. Andre is bent over and panting trying to catch his breath almost completely gassed out as Santino gets to his feet much to the crowds cheers increasingly so as he immediately pulls out the Cobra and begins to repeatidly strike Andre. Santino's finisher does knock the big man back a step each time but we have still not had one ref count for Andre but that soon changes as Ryder re-appears.

He climbs back onto the ramp and on all fours behind Andre (before getting back to his feet) is the reason for the big mans fall after another couple of Cobra strikes send Andre stumbling backwards at which point he falls backwards over Ryder and off the ramp landing sqaure on an table set up below covered in tv equipment (electrical wires etc).

Even Santino & Ryder look shocked as the ref begins to count and with Andre below them flailing like a turtle on it's back trying to get up but to no avail as the ref makes the 10 count! "oh my gawd, Santino has actually won!" say the announcers!

    Winner: Santino Marella

The two friends begin to celebrate but it isn't too long before Andre does get back up and much to the crowds amusement the two realise and quickly scarper to the back, he may be making them laugh but the commentaters note that surely the crowd would have been impressed with how much punishment he endured here tonight before actually picking up the win.
    hnAnQ.gif

Explanation: comedy moment on a night that won't be packed full of laughs and the beginning of The Santino Marella "Giant Killer" gimmick where he can remain a comedic member of the roster but in ring can perhaps begin to be taken more seriously from now on
Backstage we see Bounty Hunter once again speaking to BWA Hardcore champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and saying how he never got a chance to ask him about his daughters championship match a little later tonight. Neidhart says that he is glad with how things worked out for Nattie because tonight she will get a chance to earn her title in the ring unlike Mickie James who was just handed her title.

Just then Terry Funk walks up to Neidhart who immediately tenses up expecting another challenge on his Hardcore championship but instead Funk pats him on the back and says although some could say the same about him (being handed the title like James) that tonight Neidhart (who after this relaxes his posture) has proven himself worthy of being the hardcore champ and Funk extends his arm and shakes Neidharts hand but just before he releases he hits a swift but powerful kick to "The Anvil's" balls, grabs BH's mic and repeatedly cracks it against the big mans skull before taking the Hardocre belt off the downed Neidhart and driving it into the back of his head numerous times before rolling over his big body and pinning him. A ref appears out of nowhere (seemingly Funk had this planned) and makes the 3 count.
    New Hardcore Champion Terry Funk!
    ASW_Hardcore_Championship-300x139.jpg
Pre-taped interview from Shinsuke Nakamura about what it means to him to be the King of Strong Style and to prove to the American fans just how good he is, as usual this is done in Japanese but is accompanied by subtitles and some clips of his 'best of' moments from NJPW
King of Strong style triple threat match: Terry Funk vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bruiser Brody

Nakamura is soon joined by the Wildman Bruiser Brody in the ring and the two are already tearing lumps out of each other when Terry Funk emerges and highlights the different hard styles on view here as the new hardcore champion carries with him a garbage can filled with Barbed wire, Kendo sticks, rope and an already broken couple of 2x4s. With Brody and Nakamura focused on each other they are easy targets and eventually take a lot of punishment from Funk including several Kendo stick shots each.

While the other two are downed Funk goes to the outside and wraps the top of the Spanish announce table in barbed wire before returning to the ring. There he smashes the garbage can onto Brody's head before throwing him head first into the nearest turnbuckle. He then turns his attention back to Nakamura and standing on the ring apron goes to suplex him not only to the outside but straight onto the Spanish announce table. He took too long setting it up and taking out Brody though and Nakamura reverses it and with sends Funk to the outside and crashing into the barbed wire covered announce table. The crowd is going wild for Nakamura who lets out a big war cry as he turns around only to immediately become the recipient of not one not two but eight repeated.

Shinsuke drops to his knees and puts his hand to his face but its clear he had been cut open as blood starts to drip from between his fingers. Brody the drabs the rope Funk had brought to the ring and ties it into a noose before dropping it around the neck of nakamura from behind. He then drags him by the noose to the corner and hangs him (although he can just about breath)off the top turnbuckle and really starts to open up on him, so much so that his face is nothing more than a crimson mask and his body has clearly gone limp as the announcers point out that perhaps he bit off a bit more than he could chew with this Hard style challenge. Before Brody can...

    Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
    ufQk9oM.png

Explanation: Introducing him strong and truely getting over the King of Strong style gimmick while also fully establishing the BWA Hardcore title as something more than a joke title (the 24/7 at PPVs rule may be dropped now that it will instead be defending in epic battles each PPV) while also not making either other man look weak considering the battering they took.
Battle for control of the BWA: Ted "The Million Dollar Man" Dibiase vs Dory Funk Jr

    Winner: Dory Funk Jr
    doryfunk_1_full.png

Explanation:Dory Funk would be the fan favourite and long term would be a better option as the GM while the loss would infuriate the heel Dibiase who as a result would become focused on what Funk had mentioned in the build to this match, The Million Dollar Man's inability to win the big one, Andre meanwhile could be transitioned from his novelty feud with Santino to more serious business against Terry Funk as Dibiase seeks retribution on the Funk brothers.
This PPV has been sponsored by
    zOihcWp.png
We return from that blatant money making ploy from the BWA to see the new man in charge of the BWA Dory Funk being interviewed by Bounty Hunter who congratulates him about his big victory. Funk shows his class by actually bigging up the performance of Dibiase whom he says pushed him all the way but that only one man could win and that one man was him. When asked if he had any changes in min for the BWA Dory let out a big smirk "oh yes" he says and explains that those changes will start right here tonight. He says that tonights main event is the biggest in Draft history, it's a match that will truely decide who is the best Wrestler in the world be it The Observer / Internet darling Hiroshi Tanahashi or the Candian Icon and the man who calls himself the best there is, best there was and best there ever will be. He says a match of that magnitude should not be one where the result ends up in dispute or where one lucky pin or DQ will decide it and thats why as of now tonights main event is.... An Iron Man Match!
Before the next match Natalya Neidhart comes out and cuts a promo in which she states that even when her uncle, who she idolized, began to run down the fans and let his World title and temporary GM position go to his head she stayed true to the fans and who she was, and who was that? The best damn women's wrestler in the world! and then when her uncle handed the BWA womens title, which rightfully should have been hers, to the no good hussey that is Mickie James what did the fans do? they cheered (she shakes her head in disdain as the fans now chant for Mickie), "not here" she says, "even in god damn Canada!" then she lets out a scream before telling the fans in attendance that all the pain she puts Mickie James through tonight be on their heads and that... she is interupted by Mickie James and her Hardcore country theme as she makes her way out for this bout
BWA Womens chamiponship match: Natayla Neidhart vs Mickie James (c)

It could be argued that the BWA are showing how much they value women's wrestling or that this match has been giving this placement on the card to let the crowd calm down a little before the main event but if the latter is true nobody told these ladies as the pace they start out at is electric with Nattie in particular showing clearly how much animosity she has towards Mickie catching her with not 1 but 2 Nattie-By-Nature Discus clothesline as this one starts out. She chances he luck and goes for a third though as Mickie gets back up but James is able to avoid it and hits a Snapmare which she quickly follows up with a running low–angle front dropkick to Natalya's face.

When Nattie gets to her feet she is immediately put back down with the Mickie-DT Standing tornado DDT as James seems to be taking control she tries for a pin but only gets a 2 count. Then as Neidhart tries to get back up she is sent crashing back down as a result of a Mick Kick (Reverse roundhouse kick) after which she picks up her opponent and signals she is once again going for a Micki-DT when suddenly it's reversed as Natalya hits a snap suplex on Mickie she doesen't release though and a la Eddie Guerrero she delivers 3 suplexes in a row and after the 3rd she again doesent release but instead re-adjusts herself and hits a bridging German suplex which again she doesent release until Mickie forces her to a split second before the ref makes a three count.

The match continues as a back and forth battle for another 10 minutes or so until Natalya goes for her Sharpshooter only for Mickie to roll her up before she can lock it in but not for a pin as it first seems but instead she transitions into a submission of her own a Cross-legged STF which Natalya almost taps to but instead she just about gets to the ropes in time next to the corner. When she gets up James rams her head into the top turnbuckle before climbing up to the top rope and calling out "Mick-a-rana" prompting the announcers to suggest the end is near, Natalya fights out of it though and shocks the crowd and announcers by delivering a Michinoku Driver II ( scoop slam piledriver)from the second rope and then instead of going for a pin she instead locks in her Sharpshooter which moments later Mickie taps to although it ins't until trainers come in and forceably make her that Natalya who is laughing Maniacally releases the hold.

    Winner: Natalya Neidhart via submission

Explanation: The double turn is completed, the full Hart family is now in the heel camp as we see a new side to Nattie Neidhart but of cours this feud is far from over especially with James having a rematch clause in place
The commentary team speculate if we will see the same conclusion to tonight's main event as we go backstage to where the current BWA World Heavyweight champion Bret "Hitman" Hart is sat as Bounty Hunter approaches him. The reporter informs him that despite a huge surge in betting from Japan he (Bret) us still the bookies favourite for tonight's match and asks how he feels about that? Bret however responds by saying that the only thing the Japanese ever got right was their women!

The camera then zooms out to reveal Bret is surrounded by Geisha girls with 1 fanning him, another massaging his feet while a third is giving him a back rub. You see Japanese women know how a real man should be treated and they also love western men. Why you ask, well because men like Hiroshi Tanahashi are, how should I put this... not big enough men for them just like he isn't a big enough name to hold this belt (gesturing to the world title around his waist), and the old saying is true for both these lovely ladies and this belt, 'once you go Bret you never go back!' he then sits up-right and orders the lady at his feet to get him his boots cos he has a little asian fella's ass to kick .
    60 minute Iron-Man Match
BWA World Heavyweight Championship: Bret "Hitman" Hart vs Hiroshi Tanahashi

**The challenger is out first followed by the champion Bret "Hitman" Hart who is lead out by the Geisha girls from earlier who are dropping rose petals at his feet as he makes his way to the ring**

This one starts relatively slowly as the two feel each other out but from the crowd reaction you'd swear they were both doing constant finishers on each other. Both men have early spells of dominance but Bret seems to be slightly on top due to his use of some very underhanded tactics. For instance when Tanahashi is on top and llooks to be about to go for a suplex Bret rakes his eyes and then while Tanahashi is left susceptible to attack Hart takes advantage and delivers a quick Spike piledriver on his opponent and then quickly makes a pin where he not only grabs the tights but also puts his feet on the ropes for extra leverage and although he is cheating it isn't spotted and he gets an early pinfall 1-0 Bret

Tanahashi kicks out right on 3 and gets straight back to his feet but seriously looks shocked, he knew that Bret had been acting and saying deplorable things recently but I guess he believed the excellence of execution wouldn't lower himself to using such tactics but now he knows better.

Hart doesen't let him relax though and immediately tries for a big clothesline but The Ace of The Universe avoids it and delivers not one but 3 huge kicks to the Canadian, the third of which leaves Hart dizzy in the corner and when he stumbles forward out of it and drops to a knee there is only one thing in Tanahashi's mind as he hits a Shining Wizard knee strike. Bret drops to the canvas as the crowd who are very much so against him go wild which they continue to do as moments later when Tanahashi locks in his cloverleaf. Bret looks in a whole lot of pain and the announcers wonder will he tap but only moments he reverses the move and is able to lock in his own Sharpshooter finisher. The crowd quietens quickly and are clearly on the edge of their seat as Bret leans back as far as he can to put as much pressure as possible on his opponents lower back. Somehow though Tanahashi is able to wriggle free and grabbing Harts singlet is able to pull him down to the mat wherejust like Bret before him he is able to reverse the situation and quickly gets back to his feet and once again locks in his Cloverleaf.

Bret struggles, he squirms, he strikes out and simply does everything he can but he can't revers it this time and he cant break the hold. He tries to crawl to the ropes and after about 15 secs has almost done so when he is dragged back into the center of the ring where Tanahashi leans back as much as he physically can and Bret can be clealy heard screaming out in pain although he still defiantly refuses to tap but after another 10/15 secs in the hold he reluctantly submits which the commentators actually say is a smart move (tap now and you don't lose the match but you do avoid serious injury)

    Tanahashi by submission 1-1

Bret rolls to the outside and is clearly whincing in pain as Tanahashi punches the air in joy after bringing things all even. What has just happened and the site of his opponent celebrating though seems to make Bret Snap as he grabs a chair and slides back into the ring behind Tanahashi and then ignoring the referees warning cracks the chair across the challengers back this is quickly followed by another chair shot and another while the ref calls for a disqualification.

    DQ Tanahashi 2-1

The illegal assault does not stop there though as he continues to hit the downed man again and again with the steel chair. His last few chair shots connected with Tanahashi's left leg and foot and it quickly becomes clear that he is intentionally targetting this area as he grabs the leg and places the man's ankle in between both fold-able parts of the steel chair before stamping down hard on it. The announcers claim they could hear a snap but then when Bret climbs to the second turnbuckle and Jumps down onto the chair again - This time everyone can hear a loud cracking noise!

Eventually The Hitman ceases his assualt and the ref is able to get between the two men giving Tanahashi a little breathing room, after a few second he asks him if he can continue the match but there is no way he is quitting now and a simple shake of his head results in a great cheer from the crowd but also a reluctant shrug of the shoulder from the ref as he begins the next fall. Within seconds Bret is back ontop of his opponent who is propping himself up in the corner and putting no wait on his foot. Bret sweeps the leg and drops Tanahashi to the mat, he is clearly in a lot of pain and it is no surprise whenafter a few moments of resisting he taps to the Sharpshooter Bret immediately locks in on him,

    Bret via Submission 2-2

Again the ref gets between the two men and tries his best to give the former New Japan man even a moments rest as he once again asks him if he wishes to continue, for a few moments Tanahashi who is barely able to stand seems to consider this but then as the crowd begin to chant his name he defiantly shakes his head before heading to the outside in what the commentators say is a smart move. He is weak now but can't be pinned or tap on the outside but he can try and rest there, of course at the same time they talk about how smart Bret was giving up a DQ pinfall in order to completely take control of the match up earlier on. Bret now having also gone to the outside forces his opponent back into the ring and when he does despite now facing a man who is clealy hobblin Bret continues to play dirty and for the second time in the match rakes his oppenednts eyse but this time follows it up with a quick roll up resulting in a 2 count at which pint Bret shouts back at the crowd from whom he could hear some boos, this of course just resulted in more and more boos.

These boos grew even louder as Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart appears on the scene and is a constant distraction not only for Tanahashi who is doing his very bes to get back into this but also for the ref who misses a blatant low blow by Bret while warning Neidhard. While crouched over Bret grabs Tanahashi and tosses him to the outside but in doing smacks him straight into the ref sending both he and Tanahashi to the outside in a bigger than usual ref bump.

Hiroshi is picked up and lead around the corner out of the view of the ref incase he still has consciousness and driven head first into the ring post and then immediately again shoulder first into the ring steps before tossing him back into the ring and calling over to the Anvil asking him to get him his belt and also grabbing a mic (plus checking for sure that the ref is knocked out). As Neidhart retrieves it Bret gets back into the ring and stands above his downed opponent as the fans continue to boo the Harts, there is less than 10 minutes on the clock and they don't like the way this is going. He doesen't care though and makes fun of the crowd by pretending they are cheering (he cups his ear before mocking blowing kisses to the crowd in appreciation.

When he finally has his belt he orders the Anvil to lift Tanahashi up to his feet and hold him in place before Bret goes to crack the championship gold across his forhead, but at the last minute Tanahashi ducks the title shot which neidhart instead takes right on the nose and immediately drops just as quick as the belt itself to the canvas. Bret's momentary reaction of shock is a moment too much as his opponent with a tornado DDT drops his head right on top of the BWA world title. He is still hobbling but does not waste time and quickly ascends to the top rope and hits his high flow Frog Splash and pins Hart 1, 2, 3 but no there is no ref to make the count and then Bret kicks out, the crowd can't believe it and within an instant go from ecstatic cheers to booing like crazy.

Despite being momentarily on top Tanahashi and Bret (with the microphone in his hand) both get to their feet at the same time, the abuse he took earlier is clearly taking its toll on the challenger, and it only gets worse as Bret smacks the base of the mic off his skull dropping him back to the mat, he then speaks into said mic while with his other hand lifting the championship belt up"

"You cheeky little.. say sayonara to this belt, and stay down, this isn't your time, this is..."

boom seemingly out of nowhere Tanahashi's good right boot comes shooting up and connects square on Bret's Jaw. The crowd go wild as the challenger gets back to his feet, The Anvil is about to interfere but the ref is back and forces him to the outside the distraction though allows Bret to roll to the outside beside him but much to his and everyone's amazement we see Tanahashi's Dragon Rocket Suicide dive to the outside taking out both men. Still hobbling Tanahashi is the first of all 3 back to his feet and he throws Bret back into the ring as we enter the last 5 minutes. When back in the ring he delivers a exquisite German suplex as shockingly the man who had taken such a beating for so long seems to actually be on top a fact that is even further established as he gets Bret with his Styles Clash Belly-to-back inverted mat slam and then goes for the pin, 1, 2...kickout!

the crowd can't believe it, can anyone win this one? Once again both men get back to their feet at almost the same time and as they do they begin exchanging big rights and lefts an exchange which is only halted as Bret decides a smarter tactic is to give a swift kick to Tanahashi's injured ankle again to much boos, he then takes the advantage by grabbing his once again downed in a show of strength especially at this late stage lifts him up for a vertical suplex which he holds in mid air for a few second before being surprised as his opponent reserves the move turning it into a tornado DDT. Barely able to stand Tanahashi drags himself up to the top turnbuckle and then for the second time tonight he hits his high flow Frog Splash and pins Hart and just like last time he gets the 3 count but this time there is a ref there to count it! and with less than 20 seconds left on the clock it's essentially all over as the crowd go wild

Explanation: Once again the new guy is made look a million bucks and the crowd is most certainly sent home happy as Bret who truely deserves it finally gets his comeuppance while a new star (at least to western audiences) is born in the form of Tanahashi. The feud could easily continue though with the last minute stipulation addition an easy point of complaint for Bret who would say that he had prepared for a 1on1 match and he did infact win the first fall and he would get his rematch in a 1on1 match at the following PPV.

Nakamura is soon joined by the Wildman Bruiser Brody in the ring and the two are already tearing lumps out of each other when Terry Funk emerges and highlights the different "Strong Styles" on view here as the new hardcore champion carries with him a garbage can filled with Barbed wire, Kendo sticks, rope and a couple of already broken 2x4s.

He took too long setting it up and taking out Brody though and Nakamura reverses it and sends Funk to the outside and crashing into the barbed wire covered announce table himself. The crowd is going wild for Nakamura who lets out a big war cry as he turns around only to immediately become the recipient of not one not two but eight repeated headbutts from Brody.

Shinsuke drops to his knees and puts his hand to his face but its clear he had been cut open as blood starts to drip from between his fingers. Brody then grabs the rope Funk had brought to the ring and ties it into a noose before dropping it around the neck of nakamura from behind. He then drags him by the noose to the corner and hangs him (although he can just about breath)off the top turnbuckle and really starts to open up on him, so much so that his face is nothing more than a crimson mask and his body has clearly gone limp as the announcers point out that perhaps he bit off a bit more than he could chew with this Strong Style challenge. Brody isn't done with him despite him clearly not being in any condition to continue but before the former Washington Redskin can truly take advantage Terry Funk is back in the action and now armed with a monitor from the announce table he decimated earlier he swings at Bruiser busting him wide open also. This only slows down the big man but a second shot to the temple floors him and from out of nowhere it is now Funk who seems in total control as EMTs actually begin to slowly escourt Nakamura away from the ring.

Much to Funks amazement Brody actually gets back up pretty quickly and since he had already dropped the monitor and started posing for the crowd after his triumphant comeback moments earlier both men are now weaponless and instead go toe to toe trading big rights and lefts. Brody actually seems to be gaining a slight advantage in this exchange until snap! out of nowhere Funk hits a DDT drilling Brody's head onto the monitor.

"Pin Him" screams one announcer "For god sake end the brutality!"

but it would seem The Funkster isn't finished yet and instead sets up a table in the ring, but no that's not enough either and he takes the barbed wire from the rubble of the Spanish announce table and wraps it around the top of this new table in the ring. He then throws Brody onto the top of the table and although the wire is causing him pain he really isn't moving much after all the punishment he has just taken. Funk then (also clearly showing the effects of this brutal match) slowly climbs to the top turnbuckle and signals for an elbow drop onto the prone man below. While this is happening at the top of the ramp next to the titantron there is some commotion as Shinsuke Nakamura can be seen fighting his way off the stretcher he was being taken away on and away from the EMTs. He stumbles down to ringside as quick as he can, blood still streaming from his forehead, and then just before Funk goes for his elbow drop Nakamura gets to where he is and with just the smallest push from him changes Funk's trajectory altogether and what was meant to be an elbow drop turns into a diving headbutt. His head connects with Brody's skull and the two go crashing through the table.

The commentators suggest Nakamura may be concussed as he slides into the ring as he looks truly dazed and like he doesn't know what to do and seems to be taking quite a while thinking it over before charging the corner and performing his El Niño Springboard moonsault off the turnbuckle and onto Brody whom he doesn't pin instead he stands up looks around seemingly confused again before doing the same from the other corner on Funk whom he then does pin.

1, 2, 3! we have a new Hardcore champion and a man who without doubt is The King of Strong Style having survived a gruelling battle tonight which has left all 3 men needing medical assistance.

    Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
    ufQk9oM.png

Explanation: Introducing him strong and truly getting over the King of Strong style gimmick while also fully establishing the BWA Hardcore title as something more than a joke title (the 24/7 at PPVs rule may be dropped now that it will instead be defended in epic battles each PPV) while also not making either other man look weak considering the battering they took.
We go backstage to where we see Bounty Hunter interview The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase who talks about how we have already seen one "Montreal screw job" here tonight when his close friend Andre The Giant was cheated out of the win by Zack Ryder and Santino Marella but that he will not fall victim to this city's curse and vows that instead Dory Funk will be jus like his brother when all is said and done, a defeated bloody mess!
    6njFgSc.jpg
Battle for control of the BWA: Ted "The Million Dollar Man" Dibiase vs Dory Funk Jr

In a stark contrast to many of the matches here tonight this one doesen't start at a million miles an hour but seems like it is going to be a pure technical contest from the off with both men exchanging wrestling holds and then submission moves, Ted with his Million Dollar Dream cobra clutch which thankfully this early on in the match Dory is able to power out of and Funk with his trademark Spinning toe hold where he twists the knee, and ankle joint as much as possible but unfortunately could not stop Dibiase from getting to the ropes and breaking the hold.

At this point it seems like Funk is gaining the advantage and a Russian legsweep followed up by an Abdominal stretch seems to hit that home but again Dibiase forces him to release the hold but this time by hooking his leg up behind him and catching his opponent with a blatant Low blow. the commentators argue whether the ref was just incompetent and missed it or perhaps he didn't want such an important match decided via DQ but either way Dory is left rolling around on the canvas in pain while The Million Dollar Man takes the initiative. A Delayed fist drop, an elbow drop and a Jumping stomp to Funk's face later and Dibiase seems to be enjoying himself and perhaps getting cocky as he maybe takes a few seconds too long in sending his opponent off the ropes and going for a big Clothesline only for Funk out of nowhere to hit a hugely impressive European uppercut causing near the entire crowd to go "ooooh!"

He's not messing around and follows that up quickly with a Belly to back suplex after which Dibiase rolls to the outside again though Dory doesn't wait around to lose the advantage but lose the advantage he does as the man billed at 7ft 4 inches and 520 pounds Andre The Giant makes his way out in support of his buddy The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. He does not physically get involved though heeding the ref's warning that he would cause a disqualification if he did so but his mere presence at ringside distracts Dory Jr enough that Ted can shoulder barge him into the ringsteps nearby. Funk actually went knee first into the steps and from that point on Dibiase clearly alters his game plan to target this area by firstly after he rolled Funk back into the ring stamping repeatedly on his knee but secondly by locking in his Figure four leglock which further damages the already injured knee.

He keeps this hold locked in for a long time but inch by inch Funk gets closer to the ropes by the corner of the ring until he reaches out and almost grabs them except Andre right under the refs nose pulls the ropes away from him at which point Dibiase pulls Dory slightly back and away from the ropes. The ref is going mad at Andre and doesn't actually notice the heel Dibiase grabbing onto the ropes behind him while executing the move to gain leverage and inflict even more pain, however it's this underhanded tactic that the ref spots and as a result forces the hold to be broken.

He is clearly shaken up but Dory Jr gets back to his feet and not only exchanges punches with his opponent who had been on top the past while but also exchanges big moves as he delivers an impressive Piledriver but unfortunately cannot capitalize upon it as the wind is taken out of his sails by a Dibiase Backbreaker. Now that he has worn down his opponent sufficiently he once again goes for a submission move as his confidant Andre cheers him on from ringside but this time it's his Million Dollar Dream submission that he locks in.

He looks like he may be fading and the ref is just raising his arm to see if he will last a 3 count or if he is losing his consciousness when a battered and bloodied Terry Funk comes charging out to ringside carrying with him one of the half broken kendo sticks from his match earlier and attacks Andre with it, in fact he chases the big man around the ring repeatedly striking him and eventually The Giant climbs over the guard rail and hightales it out of there through the crowd while BWA security and medical personal stop Funk from chasing after him. The crowd, the ref, The Million Dollar Man, everyone but his brother Dory is distracted by Terry's appearance and Dory uses this to just like Dibiase earlier (albeit less blatant) turn the tables with a back leg hook low blow, then free from the Million Dollar Dream and with his opponent incapacitated he delivers another jaw jacking European uppercut knocking Dibiase to the ground where he is subjected to Dory's Cloverleaf. He holds on as long as he can but eventually The Million Dollar Man relents and taps and we have a new man in charge and it's The Long Tall Texan!

Explanation:Dory Funk would be the fan favourite and long term would be a better option as the GM while the loss would infuriate the heel Dibiase who as a result would become focused on what Funk had mentioned in the build to this match, The Million Dollar Man's inability to win the big one as well as how he was screwed in another Montreal screwjob. Andre meanwhile could be transitioned from his novelty feud with Santino to more serious business against Terry Funk as Dibiase seeks retribution on the Funk brothers.

He says that tonight's main event is the biggest in Draft history, it's a match that will truly decide who is the best Wrestler in the world be it The Observer / Internet darling Hiroshi Tanahashi or the Canadian Icon and the man who calls himself the best there is, best there was and best there ever will be. He says a match of that magnitude should not be one where the result ends up in dispute or where one lucky pin or DQ will decide it and thats why as of now tonight's main event is.... An Iron Man Match!
Before the next match Natalya Neidhart comes out and cuts a promo in which she states that even when her uncle, who she idolized, began to run down the fans and let his World title and temporary GM position go to his head she stayed true to the fans and who she was, and who was that? The best damn women's wrestler in the world! and then when her uncle handed the BWA womens title, which rightfully should have been hers, to the no good hussey that is Mickie James what did the fans do? they cheered (she shakes her head in disdain as the fans now chant for Mickie), "not here" she says, "even in god damn Canada!" then she lets out a scream before telling the fans in attendance that all the pain she puts Mickie James through tonight be on their heads and that... she is interupted by Mickie James and her Hardcore country theme as she makes her way out for this bout
    wwewomen.png
BWA Womens chamiponship match: Natayla Neidhart vs Mickie James (c)

It could be argued that the BWA are showing how much they value women's wrestling or that this match has been giving this placement on the card to let the crowd calm down a little before the main event but if the latter is true nobody told these ladies as the pace they start out at is electric with Nattie in particular showing clearly how much animosity she has towards Mickie catching her with not 1 but 2 Nattie-By-Nature Discus clothesline as this one starts out. She chances her luck and goes for a third though as Mickie gets back up but James is able to avoid it and hits a Snapmare which she quickly follows up with a running low–angle front dropkick to Natalya's face.

When she gets up James rams her head into the top turnbuckle before climbing up to the top rope and calling out "Mick-a-rana" prompting the announcers to suggest the end is near, Natalya fights out of it though and shocks the crowd and announcers by delivering a Michinoku Driver II ( scoop slam piledriver)from the second rope and then instead of going for a pin she instead locks in her Sharpshooter which moments later Mickie taps to although it isn't until trainers come in and forceably make her that Natalya who is laughing Maniacally releases the hold.

The commentary team speculate if we will see the same conclusion to tonight's main event as we go backstage to where the current BWA World Heavyweight champion Bret "Hitman" Hart is sat as Bounty Hunter approaches him. The reporter informs him that despite a huge surge in betting from Japan he (Bret) is still the bookies favourite for tonight's match and asks how he feels about that? Bret however responds by saying that the only thing the Japanese ever got right was their women!

As we return to ringside one announcer (there is always a heel announcer) talks up how Bret clearly doesn't hold a grudge against the nation of Japan due to the actions of one upstart while the other immediately dismisses that notion instead pointing out how the last two matches here tonight have ended either with a Sharpshooter (a move used by both Natalya & Bret) or Cloverleaf submission (Dory Funk & Tanahashi) and wonders if we might just see one of those moves win a second match next as we finally arrive at the main event of the night and the match that should truly decide not only who is the best in the BWA but who is the best in the world of Professional Wrestling today.

Bret drops to the canvas as the crowd who are very much so against him despite being in Canada go wild which they continue to do as moments later Tanahashi locks in his cloverleaf submission. Bret looks in a whole lot of pain and the announcers wonder will he tap but only moments later he reverses the move and is able to lock in his own Sharpshooter finisher. The crowd quietens quickly and are clearly on the edge of their seat as Bret leans back as far as he can to put as much pressure as possible on his opponents lower back. Somehow though Tanahashi is able to wriggle free and grabbing Harts singlet is able to pull him down to the mat where just like Bret before him he is able to reverse the situation and quickly gets back to his feet and once again locks in his Cloverleaf.

Bret struggles, he squirms, he strikes out and simply does everything he can but he can't reverse it this time and he cant break the hold. He tries to crawl to the ropes and after about 15 secs has almost done so when he is dragged back into the center of the ring where Tanahashi leans back as much as he physically can and Bret can be clearly heard screaming out in pain although he still defiantly refuses to tap but after another 10/15 secs in the hold he reluctantly submits which the commentators actually say is a smart move (tap now and you don't lose the match but you do avoid serious injury)

    Tanahashi by submission 1-1
    220px-Tanahashi_Cloverleaf.JPG

Bret rolls to the outside and is clearly wincing in pain as Tanahashi punches the air in joy after bringing things all even.

Within seconds Bret is back on top of his opponent who is propping himself up in the corner and putting no wait on his foot. Bret sweeps the leg and drops Tanahashi to the mat, he is clearly in a lot of pain and it is no surprise when after a few moments of resisting he taps to the Sharpshooter Bret immediately locks in on him,

    Bret via Submission 2-2
    bhartsharpshooter.jpg

Again the ref gets between the two men and tries his best to give the former New Japan man even a moments rest as he once again asks him if he wishes to continue, for a few moments Tanahashi who is barely able to stand seems to consider this but then as the crowd begin to chant his name he defiantly shakes his head before heading to the outside in what the commentators say is a smart move. He is weak now but can't be pinned or tap on the outside but he can try and rest there, of course at the same time they talk about how smart Bret was giving up a DQ pinfall in order to completely take control of the match up earlier on. Bret now having also gone to the outside forces his opponent back into the ring and when he does despite now facing a man who is clearly hobbling Bret continues to play dirty and for the second time in the match rakes his opponents eyes but this time follows it up with a quick roll up resulting in a 2 count at which pint Bret shouts back at the crowd from whom he could hear some boos, this of course just resulted in more and more boos.

These boos grow even louder as Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart appears on the scene and is a constant distraction not only for Tanahashi who is doing his very best to get back into this but also for the ref who misses a blatant low blow by Bret while warning Neidhart. While crouched over Bret grabs Tanahashi and tosses him to the outside but in doing smacks him straight into the ref sending both he and Tanahashi to the outside in a bigger than usual ref bump.

Hiroshi is picked up and lead around the corner out of the view of the ref in case he still has consciousness and driven head first into the ring post and then immediately again shoulder first into the ring steps before tossing him back into the ring and calling over to the Anvil asking him to get him his belt and also grabbing a mic (plus checking for sure that the ref is knocked out). As Neidhart retrieves it Bret gets back into the ring and stands above his downed opponent as the fans continue to boo the Harts, there is less than 10 minutes on the clock and they don't like the way this is going. He doesn't care though and makes fun of the crowd by pretending they are cheering (he cups his ear before mocking blowing kisses to the crowd in appreciation.

When he finally has his belt he orders the Anvil to lift Tanahashi up to his feet and hold him in place before Bret goes to crack the championship gold across his forehead, but at the last minute Tanahashi ducks the title shot which Neidhart instead takes right on the nose and immediately drops just as quick as the belt itself to the canvas.

Despite being momentarily on top Tanahashi and Bret (with the microphone in his hand) both get to their feet at the same time, the abuse he took earlier is clearly taking its toll on the challenger, and it only gets worse as Bret smacks the base of the mic off his skull dropping him back to the mat, he then speaks into said mic while with his other hand lifting the championship belt up

Once again both men get back to their feet at almost the same time and as they do they begin exchanging big rights and lefts an exchange which is only halted as Bret decides a smarter tactic is to give a swift kick to Tanahashi's injured ankle again to much boos, he then takes the advantage by grabbing his once again downed opponent and in a show of strength especially at this late stage lifts him up for a vertical suplex which he holds in mid air for a few second before being surprised as his opponent reserves the move turning it into a tornado DDT.

Explanation: Once again the new guy is made look a million bucks and the crowd is most certainly sent home happy as Bret who really deserves it finally gets his comeuppance while a new star (at least to western audiences) is born in the form of Tanahashi. The feud could easily continue though with the last minute stipulation addition an easy point of complaint for Bret who would say that he had prepared for a 1on1 match and he did infact win the first fall and he would get his rematch in a 1on1 match at the following PPV.

    Build up Show 1 - Show 2 - Show 3 - Show 4 - PPV Preview

    BWA.com Kick-off show
    Live from Montreal, Canada

'If that's what you wanna see then let me hear you now Montreal' then he leads them in a Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!
    wwe_in12.jpg
Internet championship match: Zack Ryder (c) vs Mojo Rawley

1-2... no kickout!

Mojo at first looks shocked but then a steely determination comes over his face and the BWA are treated to not only Rawleys in ring BWA debut but also the debut of his 5th move of doom as he lifts Ryder up and delivers a devastating running powerbomb to him before pinning him once more this time for the 3 count.

An impressive debut and we have a new Internet champion

Backstage former chairman Bounty Hunter in his new role as the BWA roving reporter is talking to the BWA Hardcore champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, you can see Jannety's Barbershop set in the background so perhaps we will get another classic interview segment later but right now the focus is on Neidhart who says that he is sick of being laughed at, sick of being considered a joke and sick of losing and that tonight if someone want's to take his title off him they better be ready for a war!

just as he says this Marty Jannety comes out of nowhere and attacks him with a superkick but big Jim is just barely fast enough to step out of the way of the blow, big Jim then headbutts the man who is obviously after the Hardcore title (being defended under 24/7 rules at the PPV tonight) and while Marty is disorientated as a result of this Neidhart grabs him and tosses him head first through the barbershop window (which had already been cracked and almost broken on the last edition of BWA Raw). Marty is left in a heap on the floor, glass shards sticking out of him as Neidhart walks off his championship still around his shoulder
    neidhart_apr99.jpg

As we return to ringside we are informed that in his last action as interim BWA General Manager Bret Hart decided that due to the fact that whichever team wins this match will be defending the tag titles under the freebird rule where by any two members of a larger team can defend the titles it would be only right if all 6 men were involved in this match and decided the fate of said titles and therefore he made this match a 6 man tag team match.

BWA Tag team Title match: The Fabulous Freebirds vs Demolition (c)
Michael "P.S" Hayes, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy & Buddy "Jack" Roberts vs Ax, Smash & Crush

Roberts leans in "nope" He asks if anyone on this roster or elsewhere could do what they do night in and night out to thrill and entertain the fans ...both the other two lean in "nope" simply put we don't need to convince you of how good we are, and hell even our opponents don't need to sell themselves or our match to you? this match put asses on seats here tonight the moment it was announced and now this match is about to steal the show. He then drops the mic as "Badstreet USA" kicks back in and they get a mix of mostly cheers but with the occasional boo from the fans of their also popular opponents in the crowd

That being said both teams make a number of quick tags until Gordy grabs (now legal man) Crush before lifting him up for a vertical suplex while Hayes tags himself in and climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits a diving crossbody on Crush (Brah!) as he is suspended in mid air. From that point on the Fabulous Freebirds are in the ascendancy and do their utmost to isolate Crush from the other members of Demolition while continuing to tag each other in and out quickly.

During this period he is subjected to a number of their signature moves such as a Buddy Roberts DDT and a Bam Bam High angle belly to back suplex but each time the pinfall attempt is broken up at the two count. After this particular 2 count Bam Bam goes over to his corner and tags in Roberts who heads to the top rope only for both men to combine with the classic Rocket launcher manuever that sees Roberts get tossed through the air towards the downed Crush. That said Crush had the strenght to kick out a few moments ago and now the wherewithal to roll out of the way and eventually to get the hot tag to Ax and the big (and Fresh) man clears the ring first by first kncoking Gordy over the ropes with a big clothesline and then by tossing Roberts clear over the rope and into his partner Hayes sending both men tumbling to the outside.

Roberts landed badly though so when Ax finally left the ring to join what developed into a melee outside the ring between Hayes, Gordy and his two team mates, Demolition found themselves with a man advantage, something they quickly took advantage of. Ax grabbed Bam Bam from behind in a big bearhug and then Smash literally smashed the big man with a big clothesline in a move the announcers said reminded them of the current BWA world and Hardcore champions Hart Attack combo move.

Hayes was valiantly fighting the odds but it was now essentially 3 on 1 so the Freebird got outta dodge and slid into the ring to get away. He was quickly followed by Ax while Smash ran around to the opposite side (Crush still on the one he had just entered the ring from) to stop his exit. Hayes tried to fight his way out of the predicament with a number of stinging right hands followed by a big clothesline but Ax avoided the connection and instead locked in his Cobra clutch and slowly wore down his quicker opponent a hold he also used to allow him to maneuver Hayes over to his corner where Smash had moved to and tagged in as they performed their patented Demolition Decapitation where Ax's Backbreaker hold was followed up by Smash's Diving elbow drop combination after which Smash goes for the pin.

In the background you can see that not only is Bam Bam Gordy back up but he is tearing lumps out of Crush who had already sustained the brunt of the damage Demolition had recieved here tonight. In ring Smash is finally listening to the ref who has been screaming at him and Ax that Hayes was never the legal man and hense wasn't counting the pinfall when we see a Gordy Powebomb on Crush on the outside.

Gordy then gets back in the ring and squares up with Smash as the two begin to go toe to toe with one another and once more the Ref is totally ignored as he shouts at Gordy this time about how he isn't the legal man. The legal man of course being Buddy "Jack" Roberts who has now snook around to behind Demolitions corner to where he grabs Ax's leg an yanks him down off the corner causing him to smack his head on the ring apron. Finally Roberts gets back in the ring and suddenly it's gone from a Demolition 3 on 1 to a freebird 3 on 1 but the ref is finally able to get things back in order forcing Gordy and Hayes (who had just got back into the ring) to the outside.

Smash had taken quite a beating due to the numbers game and even now against the smaller of the 3 Freebirds was desperatly looking for someone to tag in but both his partners were not in his corner. Suddenly Crush was back though and took the hot tag and came in at a fast pace deliveing a nice punch kick combo before slingshoting Roberts into his own corner (where Gordy tags back in) before charging said corner only for Roberts to move out of the way at the last moment before showing that he has what it takes in modern times by perfroming a suicide dive to the outside right next to the oppositions turnbuckle not only taking out Smash but also Ax who was just getting back up to their corner. As this was happening Crush who had already taken a hell of a beating in and outside and had now just went head first into the ring corner stumbles right into a Gordy gut kick before the big man set him up for a piledriver, in mid move though Hayes tags himself in and jumps off their corner to turn it into a vicious spike piledriver double team move.

Crush is not moving as Hayes then goes for the pin 3, 2, 1!

Buddy "Jack" Roberts notes how there are 3 of them and they only have 2 titles though before telling BH and his cameras to follow him while Hayes & Gordy continue drinking to celebrate their victory. Eventually Roberts leads the cameras to the location of BWA Hardcore Champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. However for the second time already tonight Neidhart is able to dodge a sneak attack as the already inebriated Rogers isn't too light footed as he wildly swings the bottle of Jack Daniels he had just been swigging from at The Anvil's head. Neidhart then drives Roberts into the corridor wall before grabbing the bottle of booze and after himself necking some smashes it across the back of Roberts skull before pushing open the lockeroom door beside him and tossing his second failed hardcore title challenger inside the room and walking off. Just before we return to ringside we see the door close and note the word "Demolition" emblazoned on it, im sure they will enjoy the present and the opportunity for some retribution after their tag team match with the Freebirds earlier!

Santino is obviously really up for this one as one could tell from his Giant Killer comment and he starts fast and strong with some big chops, after 3 or 4 though he stops as he realizes he isn't really having much of an impact on the Giant who is actually laughing at him.

He hits multiple kicks to Andre and looks to be getting back into it but then a big headbutt takes the momentum back again for the big man who leads Santino up the ramp towards the titantron.

Andre is bent over and panting trying to catch his breath almost completely gassed out as Santino gets to his feet much to the crowds cheers, which increase further as he immediately pulls out the Cobra and begins to repeatidly strike Andre. Santino's finisher does knock the big man back a step each time but we have still not had one ref count for Andre but that soon changes as Ryder re-appears.

He climbs back onto the ramp and on all fours behind Andre (before getting back to his feet) is the reason for the big mans fall after another couple of Cobra strikes send Andre stumbling backwards at which point he falls backwards over Ryder and off the ramp landing sqaure on a table set up below covered in tv equipment (electrical wires etc).

Even Santino & Ryder look shocked as the ref begins to count and with Andre below them flailing like a turtle on it's back trying to get up but to no avail as the ref makes the 10 count! "oh my gawd, Santino has actually won!" say the announcers!

    Winner: Santino Marella

The two friends begin to celebrate but it isn't too long before Andre does get back up and much to the crowds amusement the two realize and quickly scarper to the back, he may be making them laugh but the commentators note that surely the crowd would have been impressed with how much punishment he endured here tonight before actually picking up the win.

Of course they don't matter, especially as Super Cena is going to run through any tag team he comes across!!
