The whole show is disgusting at this stage... It purports to be a modern day opportunity knocks, but is so cynical, contrived and exploitative at this stage... I agree that X Factor is an absolutely terrible show. I can't stand the frenzy that occurs for a few months when it's on. Every facebook status, every magazine, it's inescapable! Manufactured drivvel.

But whether you hate Cheryl or not, she's just a young person who's going through a divorce, which is a really horrible experience and I just think it's sad! Piers is meh. He's about as interesting as a gnarly, lukewarm flannel.

I was in a house saturday night where unfortunately I was subjected to that "interview". If you believe she is anything but fake and down to earth after that I have to question have you ever come across a down to earth person.

The way i see it, she is so far removed from reality, her whole life must be so surreal. You kind of have to wonder, does she really feel the whole impact of what has happened to her in the last year? For anybody else, the normal Joe soap, a divorce would have crippled you, left you shattered. She seems to have almost distanced herself from this. Even talking about him being her best friend and how much she still loves him, i mean, really? I think if someone as close as that did that to me, i would not be able to say his name nevermind describe him in such a loving manner.
The description of the illness was a little weird also. She was going on about some top photographer who had flown in, and almost felt like she had to say that she had stayed on the shoot for him in order to win some kind of compassion. If i was that sick, as she had described i would be in the hospital not giving a cr*p about the overpaid photographer.
Why was she angry about your man telling her she needed blood tests? Because of needles? Seems crazy for a girl who "felt like i was dying".
I just think its almost like she is living someone elses life, as is far far removed from her own. A bit strange.

The biggest sign to me about how contrived it all was came in the form of the questions that WEREN'T asked moreso than those that were!

For the record, I detest the way anything who does anything bad to a black person gets called a racist! Besides, I don't think you could possibly call someone who was married to a black man and who has since probably shagged another even blacker man (Will I Am) a racist!

That toilet assault was ONE of the questions I was referring that that was conspicuous by its absense!

It's going off point slightly - But I don't see a sexist man marrying a woman being the exact same thing as a racist white person marrying a black person.

I also don't see someone who uses the 'N' word is automatically anti-black - since blacks themselves use it to each other.....not just in the movies! Being racist to me is more to do with discriminating against someone or not giving them the same chances because of their colour!

To say yer one wasn't picked coz she's black is an outragous accusation. I'll remind you that Treyc Cohen and Rebecca Ferguson WERE picked by Cheryl this year.....and incase you haven't noticed.....they're black! So too is Alaxandra Burke who won it - under Cheryl!

I didn't say it was justification for using it. I said it doesn't mean she's racist!

Never saw that E4 Special! But like to think I can see thru a lot of bull**** and I think I have a pretty good idea of what the REAL Cheryl is like. Racist wasn't - and isn't one of my thoughts of her charachteristics!

Look if you didn't like Cheryl Cole before the interview you probably weren't going to like her after because you have an idea in your head of what kind of person she is. And if you like her you'll probably think it was an amazing interview.

I personally don't love her but I don't think you can call that interview fake. She's just gone through a divorce and very bad Malaria, of course she was upset. I think people are being a bit harsh about her to be honest. I thought she came across as a nice girl to be honest and I was never her biggest fan.

As for Piers Morgan...why do these people keep giving him such personal interviews. Of all people out there doing these kind of shows he has to be the least trustworthy and has treated Cherly Cole, Dannii Minogue etc really badly in the past with the stories he's written about them. I guess they'll do anything for publicity? It has worked well for them though, pouring their hearts to everyone, which is no doubt why they're doing it, to change peoples' opinions of them.
