    Bodymax CF480 multi press rack

    appologies for the lack of clarity in Pic.1 !, its dark and there's not much room in me gym. will get better ones up some time later.

    Brought from powerhouse – delivery was fast and hassle free.
    Assembly was as simple as could be expected. Took about an hour and a half (mostly because It was after work and I wasn’t the most energetic Siman).

    Strength, Durability & Build Quality:-
    The frame is big and heavy (~ 65kg) and feels like it could take a fair bit of weight. All the bolts supplied are M10 and have ‘JT 4.8’ printed on them (that’s an ISO standard class, well at least 4.8 is), so I know they won’t be likely to fail on me (touch wood!). My only quibble is the lack of lateral stiffening, as there is only one cross beam located at the bottom. Not that this is an issue at all, (just me over engineering things!) there is not much wobble at all and it feels sturdy when I rack the bar when squatting.
    The main members are nice and sturdy with what looks like good welds.

    The gun-rack bit is very functional and feels strong, although my 2” bar doesn’t fit it all too well, at least not as well as I would like (see pic.) it stays there, just gotta take care not to knock it out or roll it out when I don’t want to.

    The safety spotter bars feel a bit weak, or at least weaker than I would like, I plan build better ones in due time (will post up when I do). They are 260mm long (not as long as I would like, but do the job). As for the adjustability of them; there are holes every 60mm(see pic.5), and the highest possible position is 1110mm from floor to top of spotter and the lowest 460mm.

    To sum-up:- I think this rack is good value for money, but if I had to buy again I would chose a proper rack. It does take up a lot of room, by that I mean it could have been more compact, but I suppose that its bulky stance gives it mega stability. Also It could do with more pins for weight storage and better spotter bars would be my biggest want.
    In hindsight I should have made something similar at work,
