    Hi everyone,has anyone seen this http ://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dorian-yates-blood-guts-6-week-trainer.htm,
    or has/does anyone train like this, if so what is your experience of this type of training? have you experienced good gains in strength and size
    Looks pretty intense!

    It's pretty similar to DC training. I'd say it's pretty pointless untill you've got a real good strength base.

    I wouldn't go near that unless you had a fairly serious strength base to start with.

    About 18 months on and off.....what would be a serious strength base look like.....140kg squat 100kg bench etc?I cant lift this by the way!
    Have a 150kg dead though.....yippeee:D

    yates has said if your a 'beginner' you should add a couple of sets to his workouts, i train similar to this but use 2 sets per exercise, its good for size and strength and ur in and out of the gym in 45 mins average
