    hi guys,
ive a half tub of whey left over from last march. I was wondering can it still be used 7 months later or will i have to throw it out. It was closed tightly and put up in the press out of the way.

I would say yes.. it's dehydrated powder after all.. is there no expiry date on it?

very mixed opinions in the above!

good tip- buy smaller tubs i guess..

if it was me, i'd try it once and if you feel ok then continue on, especially if it's been sealed.

Most whey products seem to have a shelf life of a couple of years. So as long as it was sealed up and not exposed to unusual environments (such as left out in sunlight as then its heating up and cooling) you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, I had a tub of Dymatize Whey that I left in a cupboard for over a year but it was sealed and ain't outta date until next March. I started using that last week - I find the taste different but think that's all in the head.

I've a smaller, 1kg tub of Maximuscle Whey that's sealed but about a year out of date. I'll be throwing that one out.
