    Get better weighing scales.

Either your weighing scales is on the blink or you ate an insane amount of carbs and drank lots of fluids after a period of carb restriction.

The breakdown of the food doesn't matter over a short period (carbs, protein, fluids)
If you eat 2kg of food and drink, you'll be 2kg heavier in the short term (until its processed).

13lbs would equal 4 litres of water and 2 big meals so i'd say its the scales.

i assume you were clothed the 2nd time?

shoes can weigh a few pounds.. tea, water, breakfast- another bit

moral of the story- only ever weigh yourself NAKED at the same time of the morning.

what do you expect lol - stepping on the scales like that is asking for mixed results .. weekly first thing in the morning is plenty

I would recommend salter brand scales, argos have lots. If you have electronic ones low batteries can alter readings. Also it should be on a hard floor, you can get mad results on carpets, and also by standing to one side on a scale.

I have drank up to ~6 cans before without going for a pee, that is almost half a stone.
