    hey all,

    Need some advice here.

I generally hit gym Mon/Wed/Fri with a good cycle on Sunday.
Didn't make the gym on Friday due to stupid work, so I went extra hard at it on Sat. Woke up yesterday sore but had promised I would go cycling so I did. Gave it socks on the bike too and was absolutely bet by the time I got home.

Couple this with the fact my 18month old is not sleeping at all and I really don't feel like hitting the gym today - first time in a long time. I even took the train to work ( and I hate taking the train ) instead of my morning spin in.

I know I will feel better after it but I am also worried my body is telling me to take it easy but should I force myself to go to the gym despite muscle soreness and muscel and mental tiredness?

    Thanks for your opinions,
    Rob

Take the day off and if Tuesday is usually a rest day rest tomorrow also. YOu could maybe do some light stretching at home to to ease ou tyour tired muscles.

Missing a day here and there makes no difference to your training, unless you are a professional training for a specific event, and even the IMHO 1 day will not make that big a difference.
