    Hi,

I'm looking to replace the single LNB on a Triax TD78 dish with a quad LNB. Does anyone know if I need to buy a Triax one (TQD 005) or could I use a Sky Quad LNB ( MTI or ZINWELL) ?

    Many thanks,
    JD

No you really need to buy a standard non sky 40mm lnb. A sky lnb will work but really to be honest they are not designed for normal dishes. Also the problem with sky lnbs some will not fit the lnb holder, the new lnbs will fit if you wind a bit of tape around the collar of the lnb, but like i say they are really designed for oval dishes.
