This being after hours, i dont mean adult toys but childrens toys?

Been feeling down all week as i was missing a guy who turned out to be messing with my head. Told me he like me, asked to come into my room and then ignored me for 6 weeks and probably forever.

So i went browsing around smyths toyshop as it brings me back to time where i didn't have to worry about life and what it throws at you. You didn't have to worry about men being assholes. Oh wait, my dad was one.

So i bought bop it extreme 2. And i really want Lulu the cat. Its a battery operated cat thats so cute. I moved away to college and missing my cat so i guess a battery operated one will do for now.

Am i the only sad individual or does anyone else buy toys for themselves?

I think you need to buy yourself some cats because you are clearly on a slippery slope.

Fvck it. Get a pram and wander around with the cats in it.

Aren't you the chick who is living on €20 a week?
WTF are you doing wasting money on toys? You can't eat them.

Although I believe play-doh is non toxic. I don't think it has any nutritional value though.

I would think that is because you have a room full of childrens toys.

I have found in situations where you are trying to forget a guy, a battery operated rabbit is much more effective.

Tbf, Bop It is actually a pretty great toy.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,072 ✭✭✭Dan Chipowski

Bop it is pretty good actually.

I don't buy toys, but found myself spending an alarming amount of time with my niece's play handbag the other day. In my defence it had lights and things.

Not toys as such. I did buy some Transformers DVDs a couple of years ago because I loved the cartoon when I was a kid. I was hoping I'd love it just as much as an adult. I didn't. Having said that I've only watched the movie so far (the original animated movie from the eighties). I might like the other ones when I get around to watching them.

I probably would buy a Transformer toy or two if you could still buy the original ones. The modern Transformer toys are crap.

I buy Dr. Who toys for my son. No ulterior motive whatsoever.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

I'd love to buy my self toys like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini but they are just a little bit too expensive...

i got most of the dvd's from the 80's. they've aged fairly well, especially the Japanese spin-off series. i know a guy who gets all the toys going, even the same stuff with different paint jobs and variants and such...

as for myself, meh... i collect those painted lead figurines of superheroes, if that counts?

Buy video games whenever I can but I must confess to also buying lots of Lego over the last year or so, totally stress busting and as someone else said, the more complex, the better. Has too be one of the greatest toys ever. :D

I used to collection action figures a few years back, got rid of them all though, sold, given to mates, my newphew inherited my He-Man and Thundercat toys (except Battle Cat, hes mine! :D) made a pretty penny from some of them too.
