    Hi

I am currently having problems with my dell dimension 5150,

I had the blinking amber light problem and i followed instructions given on a website and it turned on, but only for a while.

This has now stopped. There is no light flashing. The computer will not turn on at all. Hasnt switched on in a few weeks.

I think it may be my PSU, any ideas on what I could do? When I open the case the green light on the motherboard is on.

I took out the motherboard battery too see if the pc would boot the pc and find all hardware again but no luck.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi
I have seen that problems many times I reckon the motherboard has give up. You could try reseting the ram.
