    Not my boat but just an example - What is this called,the black circle thing at the back of the keel..and whats it's purpose??

    I have one on my boat but does it need to be blocked,is it used for bouyance or will i leave it open or blocked

    Thats the bung plug, it's used to drain the boat when it's out of the water. Always check that it is back in before you launch.:)

    It should have one of these in it.
