Setting up a blog on a sub domain?

    Hi all,

    I currently have an instance of Joomla running on the www part of my subscription (which is fine). I am looking to run an instance of WordPress from http://blog.[mydomain].com

    I have a very rough idea what I need to do..
    • Create a DNS record for the "blog"
    • Install WordPress and point it to the blog sub domain

    Can someone please tell me if that's the right order and exactly the steps I need to do?

    Hosting = Linux Shared Minimus (Apache)
