Nice pool but not necessarily nice price = Silver Springs. Not quite the city either, depending on what your definition of that is! Great gym though with a lot of classes/equipment

How about the mardyke arena, nice pool and not too pricey better price if you are a graduate of UCC.

i understand silver springs is a good gym
but it seems expensive at €75 per month
anyone know how it can be got for less?
or any other gyms around with squash facilities.
recession means we all need to save, but health is important too

I wouldn't recommend silversprings tbh - was a member there for many years - pool is always freezing, gym always leaking water somewhere and the weight equipment is very poor - has lots of treadmills and some machines if that is what you are after but aside from that I wouldn't waste the very high membership prices for the facilities. In saying that it does have tennis and squash courts so if you are looking for those it is handy.
