Outdoor advertising laws?

    Not sure if this is the correct forum.

    I'm just looking for info. on the laws governing outdoor advertising in Ireland.

    E.g. The legal criteria/requirements for establishing billboards, putting ads on vehicles, etc.

    Have a look at www.iapi.com or www.asai.ie, both have legal info re: most advertising formats.

    Are you trying to establish that your advertising (or somebody elses) meets the various codes of practices and laws? Or are you trying to establish and outdoor advertising business! Your post is a bit vague.

    Both actually! Although the main business idea behind this is just linked to outdoor advertising; not necessarily a traditional OOH ad company.

    Your post is still very vague, but:
    outdoor sites need planning permission
    Flat ads on vehicle no problem (permission of the owner). "Structures" in vehicles would have to get the nod for insurance co and pass road worthiness.

    Naturally all ads would then have to comply to the different charters/rules.
