I found this recipe today, it was absolutely beautiful.
Now that I can cook my favourite foodthere's no need to eat mass amounts of carbs again!

    Ingredients:

    2 cups flaxseed meal
    1 teaspoon sea salt
    2 teaspoons natural baking powder
    1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon Italian mixed dried herbs
3 large eggs, beaten until smooth
    3 tablespoons sunflower oil
    ½ cup water

    Method:

    1. Heat oven to 425 ?F.
    2. Combine flaxseed meal, sea salt, baking powder, sugar and Italian Herbs together until lump-free.
    3. Beat together eggs, sunflower oil and water until smooth.
    4. Pour liquid mixture into flaxseed meal mixture. Blend well until smooth.
    5. Cover with a tea towel and put in a warm place until doubled in size for about 1 hour.
    6. Press into desired shape (oblongs are more traditional in Italy for pizza).
    7. Place on a pre-greased or non-stick pizza pan or sit on a silicon baking mat.
    8. Bake for 15 minutes in the center of the oven until cooked.
    9. Remove from oven and allow to cool until warm to the touch.
    10. Add favorite toppings and then return to the oven to bake as with any normal pizza.

It is ridiculously awesome! I'm going to make carbonara sauce soon and put it on, then permesan, chedder and rashers!

Any chance there's some nutritional info available on this?

Why would you avoid using flour or polenta ( like is traditionally used in Italy) and then put a tablespoon of sugar in the dough?
It's not like you're feeding yeast with it?

It's very low, I believe maybe 1.5 grams per 100 grams, so maybe a max of 3g in the whole pizza bar the tsp of sugar and the tsp baking powder.

When you calculate net carbs with the flax I use it's way less than that. I think there's 30 grams of fibe per 100 grams.

Very low carb... ketosis, I like staying there and one tsp of sugar won't change that!

Nutritional data of combined flax, baking powder, sunflower oil, eggs and sugar.

I calculated the flax as 150 grams which is what I used when I made the pizza last.

    Protein - 51 = 205kCals
    Net carbs/Sugar - 6.5 = 32kCals
    Fat - 126 = 1134kCals
    Fibre - 43

    kCals = 1371.

My maths is pretty bad when I'm tired though I'm pretty sure this is 100% accurate.

So say you put your cheese and toppings on, then eat a 1/4 of the pizza each day. That's pretty handy! Oh and there's 36 grams of Omega 3 in this concoction.

    I need bed!
