Okay long story short Im late 20s female spent first 7 months of this year getting fit doing bootcamp, spinning classes, running etc, anyways from June had awful pain in side when I exercised and eventually when it got so bad that I had pain just coming down the stairs i went to the doctor! Was diagnosed with an infected appendix which they left settle down for 6 weeks before taking out, it was removed a month ago so Im now roughly 3 months with doing zero exercise not fit to start again (as per doctor) but hope to start again in next 2- 3 weeks.
So I guess what Im hoping for is that someone who has had something similar happen them can tell me its okay and Im not going to have another awful slog?
BTW Ive put on a stone

if you were reasonably fit before you'll find it should come back to you quickly enough. ease yourself into it and you should be grand.

but sher just do it anyway. if we told you that it'd be hard, or take you ages, would ya just sit on yer arse with an extra stone and not bother? when yer done recovering from the appendix job get the feck back out there and give it some welly.

It can be hard to get back into it but just think of how good you will feel after the 1st week done. Once you get back into your regular routine, your fitness will be back before ya notice and the weight will shed fairly quickly.

Repeat after me - "if it's got to be it's up to....."

    Yes - ME!!

Problems are always going to arise in life. Remember these are those small mole hills you see not the mountains you were thinking of
