There are so many children's TV stations on sky at the minute...wouldn't it make sense to have one dedicated to retro kid's shows? Our kids could watch all the shows we did

Thats a fantastic idea actually. Really hate all the crap kids shows on TV at the moment.

The old looney tunes, tom & jerry (the old ones, not the watered down crap) etc etc would be great.

And the flinstones was my favorite show as a kid. Followed by the jetsons....

Anyone remember the one with the boy who made loads of robots and they were all different in some way? Like a sports robot, a ninja robot and I think there were two robots that rapped. Bots Master I think it was called.

Captain Planet and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the best by far.

Animals of farthing wood was another favorite.

I don't really remember the show itself but James Bond Jr. had a really catchy theme tune.

There best and only Scooby Doo cartoons were those from the 60's and early 70's before they ruined it with "Puppy Power!!"

Transformers was my favourite back in the eighties. If I saw an old episode was on I think I'd probably watch it even now. I liked Thundercats and Masters Of The Universe when I was about eight or nine but I don't think I could watch them now. I liked Danger Mouse and Count Duckula too.

Also The Simpsons started in the nineties (or the late eighties if you count the Tracey Ullman Show). It was great until about 1998 or 1999.

I used to think this was brilliant, no-one I know seem to remember it...great '80s intro too :D

Used to love Dogtanian too, I remember the end credits where it showed various bits from the show...the bit where the bits of apple slowly float down in front of Dogtanian sticks in my mind!
