Is it just wheat or gluten too? if just wheat - oats?

Eggs are fantastic - scrambled, omlette etc with bits of chicken, ham, mushrooms, spinach etc

Greek or live yogurt with some fruit and nuts and seeds

    Millions of ideas.

I've been wheat-free for a month or so. I believe corn flakes (made from corn) and Rice crispies (made from rice) are both wheat free.

I imagine that if the OP has to avoid Oats, that the OP will also have to avoid things like maize too. Open to correction though.

Either way i wouldn't advise either of the above for brekkie - more nutrition in a piece of grass.

Fair point. I've been eating cornflakes for breakfast lately but I might try some of your suggestions instead.

On an off topic note -

Growing up as a kid i think i had so many bowls of cornflakes in warm milk that i now retch every time i see a box of cornflakes :pac:

Iv also been thinking about ricicles lately - i used to sneak them home as a kid as mam didnt want us eating sugary cereal (little did she or most people know corn flakes are just as bad!) and when she was out of the house id sneak a bowl and glass of milk up to my room and eat through the ricecles!! Do they still sell them? Can't remember seeing them for quite some time now

I remember Ricicles, what poison they were. Probably banned by the food safety authority at this stage!
