    Good morning

    I was just wondering about the possibility of having a dog's park in Trim, something similar to the one in Marlay park, Dublin.

    All we need would be a site (pitch size) and fences. I was wondering where I should start ... would anybody be interested and sign the petition ?

    Here are some of the benefits of having a dog park (like in loads of places on the continent) :

    * safe and secure for the dogs,can;'t escape
    * good for their socialising skills
    * owners meet like-minded people
    * owners who are dont have the energy can relax and let their dogs run like crazy
    * less dog poo in public places
    etc etc ...

    I'm not a dog owner, but I would gladly support this if it meant a reduction in the amount of dog sh1te all over the paths and walkways.

    ooh I'd sign a petion if you organised one. I'm in Ashbourne but would be willing to travel to Trim. I have 3 terriers and a springer and would love somewhere to take them to play.

    I haven't found anywhere around here yet where I can safely let them off lead to run around:(

    Edit: Just thought it might also be worth posting this on the animal and pet forum. I'm sure there are people on there who might be able to help you
