Hmm, it's a toss up between the Rolls Royce Phantom & the Skoda Superb

Today I reckon its a left hooker 1950's Fiat 500 in white.
Tomorrow it will be something else.

Best car at what? Looks, driveability, speed, etc? Imo there is no one car that can be the best at everything.

Nothing in particular, just what you perceive as being the greatest car ever made.

    It is a fabulous car.
But there are many other "best cars"... it depends from which corner you are looking at the car ;).
    Here is one strong candidate:

Horrific. The front got very very light once you were at motorway speeds, and the fact that the car was a mismatched bundle of volvo renault and god knows what else parts didn't help it either.

I thought this thread would consist of exotic supercars etc. Seems as sh1te like the Mark 2 Escort and Deloreans have been put forward I reckon the original Mini and the Beetle would be worthy suggestions. Both were sold for decades in much their original form and were very very popular.

Oh I could go on....... :D

ps I rate the F1 above the latest bugatti. It's pure. The Bugatti is impressive. Monumentally so, but not nearly as pure a car as the F1.

Seriously Podge2k7. I'm sure you're a lovely person, but I may have to hunt you down. And then pay others to stare at you in an intimidating fashion. I'm too dopey looking to get the effect I'm after. And no I don't care if its an attempt at humour. You're wrong dammit! on so many levels. :D

Have wanted a Dodge Viper, ever since playing GTA :D

Don't really like this years model, though. Something about it is just not right, but I can't put my finger on it.
