    Any one know who will be on "The Saturday Night Show" this week ? I am early I know but someone can update if they find out during this week.

    I'd guess some hasbeen soccer player will be amongst them to help flog tickets for the FAI's forthcoming home matches. Other guests will likely include some washed up star who has been abroad on a now flopped career and is now seeking to get themselves work again.

    Oooo it's getting exciting!!! Any word yet? There must be an RTE insider who can spill. Reminds me of the giddiness we had as children waiting for the Christmas RTE Guide.

    Brendan has a lot of natural ability when it comes to interviewing people.. I just wish they would teach him how to use the autocue and look like he's not using the autocue...

    Well I started that campaign Jonjo, but he asks the questions I would like to ask.. a bit risqué, no plamás or looking for Irish ancestory.... He needs coaching but he's vastly better than Tubridy..

    Wow, haven't been a big fan of O'Connor writing or when he was doing this show before but I'm enjoying him tonight. He can be pretty scathing and gets away with being cheeky.

    My biggest criticism is that there seems to be 'pauses' at times but I'm sure that will improve

    what I like about B.O'C is that the show has so much car crash tv potential and he would revel in it. He is not ruffled when guests give him a bit of lip.

    He is a cheeky bugger,witty and can totally rub someone up the wrong way and he loves it!

    I wasn't a fan of Brendan's before he started doing this show.. but he's really good. Excellent interview with Tara. Tubbs would have been completely out of his depth.

    dont like the bloke, but he asks what you want the guest to be asked.

    he has a good way of taking the piss out of the guests, im sure the potential is there for serious stuff aswell if he absolutely has to, with being a journalist on current affairs too.

    a smug prick but an entertaining smug prick when interviewing other smug pricks :D
