Two months ago i moved to a new area and my diet became takeaway meals. this caused fatigue and pale drawn skin. i have started to take a multivitamin containing ginsing and drinking more water as i think dehydration may have played a part in my becoming run down. i am slowly improving my diet. what else can i do to improve my energy levels and get back a healthy complexion?

Hi-I find Spirulina to be fantastic for energy and general well being. The tablets are quite disgusting so I go for the capsules. They have all the amino acids so help curb the appetite for any excess rubbish. I've been eating very healthily since I've begun taking them. There are various brands which also vary greatly in price, the ones I take are €13 for 100.think they are called Life Stream. Hope this helps.

Is there anything else going on? e.g. new job, new working hours, sleeping patterns.

I cycle to work each day, early morning exercise really energizes me, I have seen quite a few people also saying this. Some would think it would tire you out but I can wake up tired, cycle in and feel far better after it.

What is this "improved diet" like?

Agree with rubadub above. Im in a routine now where if i dont get my session done early min the morning i am actually tired for the day whereas its a complete 360 when iget it done in the morning. Im ready to go for the day.

Also a multi vit won't really fill the void of a crap diet or it wont give you energy that you need to get by on.

Have moved to a new area where i dont know a lot of people and am a bit stressed about finding a job. this is probably what is affecting my sleep patterns.i could fall asleep on the couch in the evening for two hours or spend the whole night reading and dont have a routine yet. the improved diet is mainly cooking potatoes and chicken or beef at home rather than the chinese takeout. im not getting much exercise in the last few months whereas before i would be playing soccer or walking a few miles each day. actually come to think of it fresh air has become a thing of the past. basically whatever i could do wrong i am. ill go for a jog in the morning and see how it goes.

Get some exercise and start eating some vegetables. Seriously.
