Salmon bagel and a chai latte. I very rarely eat lunch out but this is my usual if I do. I might even have a second latte with a brownie.

Going to have one later……had one a few weeks ago and it was “on the edge” for me in spicy levels 😀. Going to soak it for at least 10 minutes this time.

Leftovers. Garlic, mushrooms, chicken, peas, spinach, stock, sundried tomatoes, red pesto, cream, black pepper and parmesan. Super quick and a rare pasta dish that's better on day two.

Ciabatta with ham and mustard. Very tasty salad of greens, potato salad and beetroot with feta. Grilled tomato and a few chips.

    Not pictured, pistachio cheesecake after.

My OH got an omelette with apple pie after. An Americano and a bottle of water and the total cost was nearly €45. Very expensive for lunch I thought.

We would eat lunch out maybe once a week, this was a place I hadn't tried before, wouldn't be inclined to go back based purely on the cost.

Edit to say there was another half to the ciabatta, but I had eaten it!!

Small bit of the meat sauce for the lasagne and some fresh attempted pappardelle pasta. Slowly getting the hang of the homemade stuff.

I've never seen Nissin noodles in that format, before. I've only had the instant noodles in the almost square pack. Are those ones an instant noodle, too, or more a regular noodle (which hardly take any longer than instant noodles, anyway)?

Been working my way through the Nongshim range. Really like the black one. Throw in poached egg and it's a very handy lunch. Must try the Nissin ones.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,335 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

More of a regular noodle. Still only 3 minutes in the broth though. Two servings of everything per pack.

”Brother Hubbard’s”, Capel St. Eggs Benedict on pulled Pork etc etc. First time there, jammers but decent scran.

Turns out I had a ribeye in the freezer. Quick lunch option to be fair.
