    Guys, I need a hand...

Just got a second hand laptop, windows 7, and the original installed language was chinese...

Now English is also installed, and set as the main language with everything but some things are still chinese. For example, the news feed gadget is all chinese. The Microsoft security essentials software is all Chinese.

    Any help would be great

Reintall windows 7. If it's new, there's nothing to lose by doing so, and it's always good to do a fresh install in those cases.

EDIT: When i said there was nothing to lose, i meant that you probably haven't installed that many apps, so it wont be a complete pain. YOU STILL NEED TO BACKUP ALL OF YOUR STUFF BEFORE DOING SO!

Oh and i've moved this to the Windows forum.

Could writing to Microsoft about the problem help?
You'd need to have your security numbers to hand I'd assume.
