What are the pors and cons? I have a pair in the house and I use them in the mornign and at night for a quick work out. I can do about 25 reps at the minute.

Any tips or advice on how to get the best out of them or am I wasting my time with them.

I think they are great...not sure what more there is to say about them...stay in school...don't do drugs...and use you push up handles.

The defo make incline push ups easier. Try using the last stair or two.

Cheers lads. I am trying to use them and pull ups to incorporate into a more stripped down basic weights/upper body routine. I am running swimming also. Are there other exercises that are holistic say for leg strength and core strength? I won't have the time any more to do very focused routines. I neaad to be working as many areas as possible in one sitting. I'll be lucky to get in one session a week in a gym doing weights. Two at a stretch.

They allow you to use a deeper ROM, without them when your chest hits the floor you are done, and you have to watch for your chin, with the stands you can go further down where the floor would ordinarily be. Some find them easier on the wrists.

They also allow you to grip the handles tightly, and many people find they can be stronger if they do this. I was reading this article about people having a stronger leg press while using hand grippers. I find this myself doing one arm dumbbell presses with a gripper in my free hand. They also found that gritting your teeth made you 10% stronger!
