Windows 7 issues after applying updates

On a clean Windows 7 64bit installation I can use Windows Media Player 12 libraries ok and I can use FreeCommander to create folders and move files without an issue.

When I have Windows 7 updated with all updates, I cannot open the Library management dialog unless I use the 64bit version. And when I use the 32bit version It eventually removes everything from the library.

In FreeCommander it gives an error on a new folder but if i click Ok and press enter again it creates the folder ok. Same thing happens when moving folders. Does not happen with Explorer I think, may just 32bit apps than deal with folders.

Anyone got an idea how to fix this?
