I'm sure most of the people here will be aware of the release of a new 'red box' for D&D. There was an interesting article on the subject a few days back on the escapist -> Red Box Renaissance.

Which for someone who was looking at getting back in D&D after a *ahem* few years of absence is welcome, especially if the the philosophy of bringing the game back to its roots according to the article is anything to go by.

On aside note I'd been looking into remote play with a few friends and it dawned on me as something which could perhaps be done here.
