German Training Program

On Monday, I'm starting a 6 week program of German Volume Training.

I've never done volume training before so am curious to see how my body responds, having only ever really used a HIT approach to weight training.

Has anyone any experience using this method?

No problem....don't want to get banned or an infraction for 'off topic' posting :).

I'll stick with open questions for now on.... ;)

So what do you think of the style of training? What were your results with it?

While I don't expect to get even half the results Poliquin claims he get using it with his clients, I'm interested to see how my body responds to it.

I've used something similar...i.e high volume work...with mainly 'newbie' trainee...with squats, bench and rows...it's fine.

I did it for a few weeks prior to hols in August and its horrific!
Lost body fat and kept my weight the same, altough my diet was very clean, other than 2 cheat meals a week on a wed and sat.

Good luck with it - you'll need it!

Cheers for the reply. I'm going on a 12-week Body Tranformation Program starting on Monday so my diet will be much improved. I need something horrific!
