Whats the story with labs and tutorials? When and how do you register? Do you pick the times? Thanks

    depends on the department.

This will all be explained in your first of lectures. Be sure to go to them.

For most departments they'll announce when you can sign up and then at the allotted time they will be "released" on moodle and you pick your preferred time slots. It's done on a first come, first served basis so be sure to get on as soon as they are to be released or you might end up with nasty 9am tutorials.
