You need to have an android device for this to work.

Step 1: If you already have Dropbox installed on your Android device, you uninstall it from Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Dropbox.

Step 2: Download and install the Dropbox+23GB APK Be sure to enable Unknown sources under Settings > Applications or Settings > Security (on ICS) before installing the APK!

Step 3: Launch the app as usual and log in.

Step 4: Wait for the confirmation email.

Download the new apk from here

if it doesn't work within 30 mins uninstall and try again.

If it works uninstall that app and reinstall the official.

You can also get another 3gb by doing the following

make sure you have the latest phone app and enable photo uploads whenever it opens

then create a large .jpeg file, open a command line then type

you then upload this "photo" to the new camera upload section in your dropbox using the desktop app

Submit a ticket about it and they'll add you manually to their system.

Not just new referrals: they're retroactively doubling all your previous referrals, too. It will take a few days to filter through, they say. In my case my Dropbox client says I have 8.7GB, but the Dropbox website says I have just under 15GB on my account. What am I going to do with all that space? :cool:
