So I got my hands on internet radio finally yesterday, and was delighted by some tunes I had totally forgotten about. (most probably because they were so crap...) Suffice to say it got me thinking.

So how's about a reminisance thread... ..best (and by best I mean so crap it rocks) 80's tracks.

Why does everyone immediately think '"cheese" when the 80s is brought up?! Yes there was lots of putrid commercial cheese, but its been present in every decade. The 60s had the Love Affair, the 70s had the Jackson Five, Minnie Ripperton and Bay City Rollers, the 90s had too many to mention. Keisha, Katy Perry and the likes are the cheese of today. My point being that the 80s was no more cheesy than any other decade. The clothing may have been a bit more suspect, but not necessarily the music.

Queen, Bowie and U2 were all in their prime in the 80s, there was as much good music as bad.

ye thats true but most of the songs being posted are known "as the most cheesiest songs" ask anybody what 80's is known for is the cheesy music etc,most of the songs form the 80's were cheesy as hell!!!!! the lyrics and even the music !!!!!

Oh I agree, but the OP was more in the vein of 'so bad it's good' 80's music, which is fun too! But there are some not so cheesy songs in this thread as well.

But yeah, there was some fantastic 80's music. One of my favourite bands, Talking Heads, for example.
