Rest Days for Core Work

    Hi,
    I understand the need for rest days between heavy workouts in order to give your muscles times to grow back bigger and stronger. However if you're looking to increase core strength (I normally do planks, evil wheel, medicine ball work etc.) is it necessary to take a rest day between core work outs?

    Any advice or experiences would be much appreciated
