So Ive had a stomach bug now for 6 days, fecked tired cos of zero food intake...feel full the whole time cos of the gas..stopped the creatine aswell a few days ago as its not good when your immune system is low..and dehydrated etc.....Can just feel the body wasting away its frustrating not being able to eat anything and barely drink a sip of water........so Im basically looking for ideas on a bit of damage control? At the moment Im just seeing it out by eating nothing every day:(.

    Hey curadh

Sorry to hear that you are under the weather. I hope you have been to you GP for some mediaction for the stomach bug.

Sorry, but I felt that I had to close this thread. If you are sick you should rest and give your body a chance to fight off the bug. In my unqualified opinion any form of training you attempt when you are run down, tired and not eating properly will only have adverse effects.

Your body is not going to shrink over the course of a week or so. Recently I missed almost a full month due to work and when I went back I had lost very little strength and had lost no size at all.

So take care, rest & get better. Your body will thank you for it in the long run.
