Youtube Search: Suddenly Irrritating

I went to youtube there this morning and it seems that they've changed the search parameters slightly.

Seems that if you search for specific, probably copyrighted (copywrighted?) material, you're bounced back to a generic 'Hey look at youtube, it's great!' page. But if you search for generic stuff you get results.

Try it: Search for 'AC/DC' and you get results. If you search for 'AC/DC Thunderstruck' however, you're bounced back to the generic page. It'll happen with movie titles, music, etc etc.

The videos are still there, but they're just a lot harder to access now. Personally I hate it, but it's understandable considering I'm mostly looking for music videos that I like but won't buy because they're up on youtube for free.

The last few times I looked up music videos on You Yube it usually showed some idiot American doing a very bad imitation of the song I wanted to listen to.

Never happened to me, whats always happening these days is you look up a song and its either some random song that some godsh*te with the title of the song you wanted or else youtube have removed the song and put on some ufo music shi*e instead.

Are you logged in as a youtube user? Try logging out and doing a search

I understand the use of playing and copying of an artist , or artist's songs to make videos but I liked Youtube before they brought in the whole coyright issue , like for example we had the whole Beatles back catalogue to listen to and Paul McCartney didn't have any problem with his stuff being listened to for free but it was Yoko ' Oh No ' who did and the more recent exellent Beatles Remasterd stuff has vanished . In some other instances original versions of other great songs by bands and artists have also gone to be replaced by people videoing their ' crackly ' single /LP versions of same ......just doesn't do it

I'm on a mac and I've logged in and out of youtube, restarted the machine... and no-one else is getting this? This is really feckin' weird! And irritating!

Kinda looking like a tech support thread now tbh.

I am not logged in; There is no difference.. seems to be working fine. You Tube has changed alot though and they have redesigned it.
