Katie Taylor now meets Queen Underwood of the United States in the semi final. Taylor, you may recall twice 'hammered' Underwood in the National Stadium and in Kildare on the last two occasions they met but in Barbados Underwood has been outstanding in all of her bouts.
In the Taylor v Belyakova contest the scores round by round speak for themselves. (In the other semi final China's Cheng Dong will meet the Polish no 1, Karolina Graczyk)

Taylor is phenomenal. I know this debate kicks off every now and then but I personally can't see how anyone can class any other irish persons sporting achievements above hers.

I think it's a disgrace we aren't seeing any coverage of her fights on rte. How much would it cost to get some footage streamed on their website.

Katie is due in the ring between 2230-2300hrs.

It will be her third meeting with Queen Underwood. Her first two meetings were in early 2009, three days apart. Two very dominant wins, one by TKO.

Should Katie win it will be 99 wins from 105 contests since 2001 or thereabouts. Superb!

I think it can only be seen in Ireland.RTE dont have the rights to show it outside of Ireland.
