Ditto. Got the text to tell me he won and was so happy. He got boned last year and it's great to see him come back and win it all this year.

A nicer guy you probably won't meet either.

Were you at the show? I missed it.. raging. Heard the standard was very high though with the likes of Paul White competing again.

Nope... I forgot about it. Only remembered when I got the text. Flipped out. Heard Paul came in 3rd or 5th or something. Good to see him back on stage.

Dying to see results.

Heard Ali's result was a bit rough.

If Aly was in the same nick she was last year (and knowing her i'd say she came in looking even tighter and better than ever ) it's just really hard to believe anyone beat her.

Whatever her name is she was looking like she was going to come in in great condition to be fair to her. One of the girls I work with was helping her with her training and prep, but I've no idea how Ali came in at all. She does usually bring a pretty awesome standard though so must have been close.

there is a couple of photos of the first timers on the galway city gym facebook. Two monsters competing with Dave O'Neill from GCG winning, ridiculous conditioning and probably the best pair of legs at the comp. Waiting to see the photos of the other classes

Which one won? Thought the black guy, can't remember his name, Pheamus is it, he should have won it. Hard to judge just by photos. The 3 guys from first timers looked better than majority of them!

Very thick just not as good a condition as others, the class before them in the pics look good, two main guys have great separation in the legs and good backs.

RIBBF should be good, say a lot of the guys will compete again plus others

Leo former Mr. Ireland who knows Famous very well - I believe they are both from the same village in Nigeria - believes that Famous is miles better than he ever could be.

He said that Famous who is late 30's is pretty ripped year round and never gets fat - genetics to die for.

Famous works as a gym instructor in Clare somewhere and IIRC does a lot of aerobics classes each week - to hold that muscle with all that cardio is pretty good going.

I remember Famous back in the late 90's - barsteward never did not have a proper 6 pack! Git!:D

Famous used to be around NUI Galway a lot when I was in college.
he did the aerobics classes an was otherwise in the gym hitting the weights.
