Training split problems

Hi all, have been doing a split now for a few months, and am considering to a less volume 3 day a week full body routine.
Reason being some muscles indirectly worked are not fully recovered when it comes to their main exercise.
Any tips on a 3 day program?
I'm training for size, suprize surprize, 5'8, 75.4 kg's, bench 60kg, squat 70kg, deadlift 80kg, 6-8 reps x5. Bar obviously on top of the lifts.
Eating 5-6 meals a day, enough calories for my size and weight.
Is progression the same for less volume workouts?

If I was you, I'd change my programme around every 4-6 weeks. Do a german body comp type programme for 4 weeks, then go back to your split, then do a low rep, high weight programme etc. etc.
You'll be less bored, and the strength phase will increase the weight lifted on the higher rep programme.
IMO, theres no perfect method, just make sure the intensity is high on every session and you should see gains

Did you exhaust a linear novice progression first?

Thanks for the replies, yea colm I did a full body novice thing for 2 months after a period of illness, when that started to slow to a halt as the weights got back to my normal lifting I went back to the split. But like davestators saying maybe going back to the full body routine for a few weeks to shake things up might be a good idea.
